First of all, go on the website and create a

teacher account on plickers.com.

Choose the tab labeled classes at the top of the page and type in your class
roster. It will assign all your students to an individual plicker. You can add
additional classes and students later as well.
Choose the library tab to create questions. Responses can be either in multiple choice or
true/false format. Select the correct response(s) for each question and click the tab labeled
add to plan below each question to attach it to the appropriate class you have already
created.

Examples of
questions created
in plickers.
Choose the tab on the website labeled cards to print out the students plickers.
Plickers are printed in sets of two to a page, so the teacher will need to cut the
page in half. Not only that, it is better to add the child’s name and the multiple
choice letters on the back of the plicker so that pupils can easily identify their
answer.

Teacher need a computer connected to a smart board or projector in classroom and are
connected into plickers account. Then, select the live view tab on the website to display
the question and answer choices for the students. Beside the question will appear a full
screen tab and another small button with an arrow that allows the teacher to hide the
response panel.
When students are holding up their plickers
card to answer a question, teacher will need
to take their smart device, choose the plickers
app, select the question they wish to use and
scan the room by selecting the camera button
which will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Teacher will see the name of the child and
their individual response for each question
selected located at the top of their screen on
the smart device when their response has
been scanned. Also, a table graph will appear
so that teacher can view the whole group data
as well. The number of participates scanned
is also provided to make certain that all
students have responded.

In the end, teacher can go to the report card button at the plickers home page. At
there teacher can view the full report of on how the pupils excel in their
assessment. This is to ensure that teacher can know whether the pupils
understand well on the subject that have been taught by the teacher.
Potential Commercial Value.

The commercial value of my digital innovation is around 5.00 because all that is needed is to
print the plickers card for the pupils otherwise it is a free access to the pupils and teachers to
get into the plickers account. All they need is a handphone to scan the pupils answer and good
internet connection to get access to the plickers. The value for this innovation is very cheap and
reasonable because it used in a spontaneous questioning environment rather than in a review
of questions previously asked. The visual aspect of vote tallying adds excitement to the
classroom and the coded cards hedge against students “cheating off of their neighbor.” Note
that if copying is a concern, the cards should be cut into squares rather than rectangles which
give directional clues to A-C or B-D choices.
