My nalysis
Your findings and recommendations in the Learner Development Profile will help you
answer the questions here.
From your home visit and interview, what do you think
i s t h e s t y l e o f p a r e n t i n g experienced by the learner? Explain your answer.
The parents of the learner knows when to say NO or YES to her and even being consistent
ontheir decision as parent. You cannot sense of favoritism as they spend equal attention to them.
Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family
factorsdo you think contribute to the development and over-all adjustment of the
learner inschool?
If the parents supports their children on their educational needs, for sure the
children
w i l l perform well better than others. It can motivate a child to be a good performer at school because the
y knew within their selves that they his parents is always at his back in danger or in victory.
Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the learner? If yes, what are
these effects?
Yes. Because education begins at home. Parents were always the best t
e a c h e r o f t h e i r children. It is good that parents should be responsible and
v i g i l a n t e n o u g h t o g u i d e t h e i r children into a better education.
MyReflections
-
Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you experience? How did it
affect you?
When I was a child my mother is the one who contrate in our study .Guiding my
assignments, projects and other school activities. This inspire me to teach others also and
share myknowledge like my mother did.-
As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school collaboration? How canyou work
well with the parents? How can you help them? How can they help you?
Parent has an important role in their child’s learning development. If I will become a
teacher someday, I will choose to call up the attention of every parents and have a seminar
in regardsto their children’s needs: psychologically and emotionally.
