1. What are the positive effect of early pregnancy to your life and

To your life?

R1 Maybe the positive effect of my early pregnancy is that I got the chance to become a

mom that some women would love to experience, but some didn’t get the possibility to

encounter.

R2 As far as I see, there are no positive effects of being pregnant early in my life, so as

my studies.

R3 Some don't know that early pregnancy has also a positive effect on me. Because of it,

I learned my lessons, and I also had the inspiration to achieve my dreams. I have my own

life now (my child and my partner), and I'll do anything for them.

R4 While the positive effect was that I became aware of the reality earlier, and I was

even more inspired to persevere in my studies to give my child a good life.

R5 It's when I gave birth to my baby. I also had the chance to continue my study. Though

there was some delay, it was okay for me, and my life became better.
2. What are the negative effect of early pregnancy to your life and

Study?

R1 Personally, the negative effect of early pregnancy is that I had to choose my son first

over my studies because no one would look after him.

R2 The negative effect on my study is not being able to go to school because I dropped

out and, in my life, my health to be specific, I experienced postpartum.

R3 In early pregnancy, the negative effect that I experienced is I got humiliated by other

people. Everywhere I go, I hear rumors about me. Some of them say that I failed my

parents because I couldn’t continue my studies, and I hate those people for making me

think that way. Thus, I once told myself that I would prove them wrong and make them

believe someday.

R4 The negative effect of my early pregnancy is that I stopped studying because of the

situation.

R5 Its negative effect on me is that I have to adjust at a young age, and it is hard to take

care of the child. I will no longer experience being a teenager because I have a big

responsibility to focus on. It also affected my education which caused me to stop

studying to prioritize my child.

3. How did you overcome the difficulties as a teenage mom?

R1 I overcome it with the help of my family. They were the ones who encouraged and

motivated me to continue my life with my son.

R2 At first, I got scared when I found out that I was pregnant. I even thought of aborting

the child because I know it's hard to be a mom. But as I was struggling and didn't know

what to do, my parents were there to support me, so I decided to raise the baby. Yes, my

teenage life was gone. I wasn't able to do the things I did before. I wasn't happy. But

when my baby was born, I felt joy. As he grew, I learned to accept my life as a mom little

by little.

R3 In my own experience, I overcome it by having a husband who always supports and

loves me as I am, no matter what other people say about me. It makes my day more

memorable.

R4 The love and care of my family and friends for me through my struggles of being a

teenage mom is what makes me strong and overcome all of it.

R5 I overcome it through the care of my family with their advice and help. Somehow it

made my experience of being a teenage mom easier.
