SCRIPT FOR English Festival 2018

1 & 2 – Good Morning KIS!


1 – Good Morning Ms. Therese!
2 – Pleasant Morning Sir June!
1 – Can anybody tell us what are we celebrating today?
2 – Yes. Today is our English Festival. The English club prepared many festivities, featuring the
Read – a – thon of grade 7, the lexicon for grade 9, the essay writing competition for grade 10,
and the extemporaneous speaking contest for grade 11 students.
1 – Those event were truly stimulating much more is the highlight of this jubilee: The Gods and
Goddesses Gala 2018!
2 – Stimulating indeed. But before we officially start our program let’s welcome our exceptional
English Club Coordinator Mrs. Hanilyn M. Sejas to conduct the roll call of the English club
officers and Members, and the diverse participating students!
1 – Thank you to our exceptionally beautiful English club coordinator Ma’am Hnaliyn Sejas. At
this juncture everyone is requested to stand for the doxology and the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be conducted by Ms. Veah Mancao, Grade 8 Student.
2 – You may now gently take your seats. To officially begin our celebration let us all give a
blasting applause to our tried – and – true English club vice president Ms. Fella Tehanee M.
Sejas for her opening remarks.
1 – Thank you Ms. Fella. To acquaint us of the soul purpose of this activity let’s all give a blaring
applause to our versatile English club secretary Ms. Kathleen Dablo!
2 – Thanks Ms. Dablo. At this point lets set the mood by witnessing a superb performance
Grade 10 rare species and English club officers.
1 – That was a very vitalizing performance from our talented students. This time we will have
our simultaneous competition. First we have the Read – a – thon of grade 7 students to be
facilitated by Mrs. Janice Menoria and Mrs. Renally Allego. Break a leg participants!
2 – at this juncture lets witness a song number from the singing sensation of Kinawahan
Integrated School Ms. Conie Caayon.
1 – Wow! Thank you for that very delightful song Ms. Conie. The next competition was the
Spelling Bee/ Lexicon for grade 9 students to be facilitated by Mrs. Hanilyn M. Sejas and my co-
host Ms. Maria Theresa Buscato.
1 – At this point we have another presentation from Grade 8 Dancers.
2 – What a peppy dance number from grade 8. The Essay writing competition for grade 10
students will now commence, it is to be facilitated by Ms. Grace Inso and Mrs. Nancy Ballarta.
2 – Thank you Ms. Inso and Mrs. Ballarta. Now lets welacome the New CG for their Scooby Doo
Papa Dance number!
1 – A staggering performance from New CG. This time we are down to the last but not the least
competition the extemporaneous speaking to be facilitated by Mr. Ramel M. Coloma and Mr.
Jan Rey A. Magdadaro.
2 – At this juncture we will witness a light number from Grade 11 Tough Dancers.
1 – What an enjoyable performance from Grade 11 tough dancers. This festivity is not complete
without hearing an inspirational message from our tender-hearted school Principal Mrs. Maria
Aileen S. Catempohan. Lets give her a stentorian applause.
2 – Thank you so much for that solicitous message ma’am Aileen. To announce the agenda for
this afternoon’s undertaking let us all give a rackety applause to Mr. John Melito Dilao.
1 & 2 – we hope you have enjoyed the festivities this morning and we’ll see you this afternoon
for the Gods and Goddesses gala. Happy Lunch Break!
1 – Blissful afternoon everyone. Before we begin let us welcome back on stage our diligent
English club adviser Mrs. Hanilyn M. Sejas.
1 – Thank you ma’am Hany. Hello ma’am Therese.
2 – Hi sir June. And of course, to our mother of the school, Mrs. Maria Aileen S. Catempohan, to
my dear supportive and active fellow teachers in the elementary and high school department,
to the parents who are here to show their utmost support, to all of you students, A VERY
EXHILARATING AFTERNOON!!
1 – YES! Very exhilarating indeed Ma’am Therese! The excitement of our English festival 2018 is
not yet over.
2 – Yup! And it has become more exciting this afternoon, as we are all going to cheer and
witness our majestically looking and astonishing cosplayers in the…
1 & 2 – The Gods and Goddesses gala 2018!
1 – So Ladies and gentlemen, sit back, relax, enjoy and let us all welcome our Gods and
Goddesses in their processional!
2 – Please remain standing for the invocation to be led by Ms. Ella Camille Cabisada, English
club B. manager, to be followed by the nationalistic song.
1 – You may now featly take your seats. Ladies and gentlemen, let us put our hands together to
our recognized Gods and Goddesses in their Runway production!
2 – To welcome us all formally in this event, may I call on stage our amicable English club
adviser, Mrs. Hanilyn M. Sejas for her welcome address. Let us give her a blasting applause!
1 – Thank you Ma’am Hanilyn! And now, lets witness an intermission number from Grade 9
Panthers.
2 – a galvanizing performance from Grade 9 Panthers. This time we will witness a song number
our KIS songbird Ms. Hannah Baflor!
1 – what an astounding performance from our songbird.
2 – At this juncture lets witness the different presentation of our Gala Attendees.
1 – Let’s start with Grade 7!
2 – Thank you grade 7 for that breathtaking performance. Now let witness the presentation of
Grade 8 gala attendees
1 – An electrifying performance from grade 8. This time lets give the floor to the Grade 9 gala
attendees.
2 – A hair – raising performance form Grade 9. The grade 10 will now take over the stage for
their presentation.
1 – Thank you grade 10 for your heart – stopping performance. Lets give booming round of
applause of our grade 11 gala attendees for their presentation.
2- Thank you grade 11 for that eye – opening performance. At this juncture lets welcome back
on stage our acknowledged and recognized Gods and Goddesses in their characterization.
1 – that was our majestic gods and goddesses. At this point let us hear a message from our ever
– supportive Brgy. Captain, Honorable Evelia C. Amoroto.
2 – At this moment, let us recognize and give our humble awards to our cosplayers. To do the
honor of presenting the winners, may I call in our benevolent school principal, Mrs. Maria
Aileen S. Catempohan.

1 – We will also acknowledge the students who excelled in the different contest this morning.

1- Congratulation winners! To formally close our program, let us give a slam – bang applause to
Mr. John Christian Olasiman, English Club officer.
2- Thank you Mr. Olasiman. The last part of our program is the community singing. Requesting
everyone to stand – up, hold hands and sing with us!
1- That was indeed a great time for us all! Til the next English Festival! This has been your hosts,
