STRENGTHS
● Mood board and conventions - You have observed and mentioned conventions
very well and in detail. I like the fact that you have divided genders and have a
good set of conventions for each of the genders. This would have helped you to
know how your final adverts should look.
● Detailed explanation on brand and slogan would have given you more clarity on
which brand name and slogan you should choose..
● Advert analysis is good because of the amount of detail and media language used.
This might have given more knowledge about her final product.
● Explanation about mise-en-scene(location) is very good. You are talking about
positives and negatives of different locations
● The theme of your blog setting and adverts has a good color scheme. The order
of your content is very neat and easy to read and understand.
● Nice color scheme of the entire advert - the watch box as well as the watch
colors. The colors went together very well and the final adverts looked good and
formal

AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT
● I think you could have added more detail while talking about the mise-en-scene
(lighting, clothes, props and model) and target audience. As there is less
information, I was unable to understand your actual intentions behind the advert.
● There should have also been more information about the target audience as this
would have given you a much more clear understanding about her target market
and it would have helped in making your advert, so that it attracts your target
market.
● The Instagram and Magazine adverts look very similar, in terms of type of
pictures. In both the pictures the watch is in the box with the same pink color for
both the adverts. It would have been better and more diverse if you could have
used a different shade of pink and also taken the picture from another angle.
● I would have also liked if there was an advert with a model as watch adverts
would look better if they were on a model as the audience can try to understand
how it might look on them.
 ● I would have liked for her to compare the three platforms(Social media, billboard
and magazine). This would have helped her in terms of knowing what elements
she needed in each of the three platform adverts.

OVERALL
I think you have edited the adverts very well. The color scheme of the blog and the
slides was very good. The extent of detail was very good and might have been the
reason your adverts turned out well.I think she had looked at small details for her
adverts. Overall, I think your adverts are very good.
