worked as an intern in a Chartered Accountancy firm
where I performed accounting transactions through Tally software, computed and
filed GST Returns for different kinds of assesses while
filing for Input Tax Credit and various deductions and exemptions available under
the CGST and SGST Acts.

During my Post Graduation in Finance and Internship, I was only able to gain
partial knowledge of finance. I still wanted to learn more
about Investment banking, and Merchant Banking, and Portfolio Management, so I
decided to gather some more knowledge before going for any
work experience.

I wanted to better understand all the aspects of a business and all its ins and
outs. And I also wanted to have a better idea of the
analytics and operations areas of businesses apart from the financial side of them

grasp of the internal workings of a business and have a better outlook to tackle
any problem I’m presented with.

Time management, Easily able to follow stringent deadlines: Recently, just before
my exams, a Science and Commerce exhibition was arranged

submissions within two weeks while also handling the
logistics of the event. I was able to balance my exams as well as the
responsibility of the exhibition in a very short deadline.

helps me stay connected with them and have a better grasp
of what is happening all around.

Problem Solving mindset: whenever I am presented with a problem, I try my best to

come up with a solution. During my internship, our firm
shifted to a new premise but clients constantly went to the old premise and the
meetings ended up getting late. While we updated
the new address on the site and put up a message on the old premise location, time
still got wasted. So, I designed a notice about the
location change with the new location embedded that I started attaching to every
client who got scheduled to meet.

Good in dealing with stress: I am able to handle stressful situations with a calm

and lost a full year’s worth of hard work. I was not
presented with many choices except to wait for the next year.
I was able to overcome this by taking steps one at a time. I first concentrated on
getting back in health and then started with
re-assessing the situation and my goals. I was able to conclude at the right time
that I wanted to work on an MBA rather than still
continue with the journey of Chartered Accountancy as the timeline for set goals
had already passed due to the situations created. I set
new goals and planned for them, and I was able to achieve these set goals by
following my plans.
