A cold case of a Journalist! The journey of a perilous veracity of Percival “Percy Lapid”

Carag Mabasa, a journalist and radio broadcaster and professionally known to be the hard-

hitting criticism of government officials was shot dead while on his way home last October 3,

2022.

It is not yet closed nor solved considering that the Philippine National police haven’t

caught the mastermind. Then suddenly they identified 160 persons of interest for the common

reasons that he might have stepped on some of them. How can they say that the case is closed

knowing that mastermind with his accomplices was still out there? And how can they solve the

case if their only witness was found dead inside the New Bilibid Prison? Investigators should do

their best at least to consider that the mastermind must be inside the NBP. PNP, investigators

and even forensic doctors should work harder to find out the manipulator of the sad reality that
