Activity 2.1 Spotting Commonalities.
Directions: Draw an analogy graphic organizer showing the
commonalities/similarities between multicultural literacy (new concept) and
cultural literacy (familiar concept). Be guided by the sample provided below.

 It involves the understanding of  Multicultural literacy consists of

and familiarity with students’ histories of diverse cultures.
Student embrace diverse behaviors, cultural values, patterns of practice, and
communication. They all share one commonality.
