Make the sustainable

choice – go green
For more efficient and ecological
polyester dyeing

■ Help lower CO 2 emissions by 30%

■ Increase productivity and improve ecological
footprint by 30%
■ 35% reduced polyester dyeing time and more than
30% energy and water savings
■ Reduce manufacturing costs by 30%
■ Complies with EU REACH, US TSCA, JP METI, ZDHC,
bluesign approved and OEKO-TEX conform
■ Increased reproducibility (right first time) resulting
in less polyester rejects and waste
■ Perfect color levelness for all types of dispersed dyes
■ Minimal agglomeration of the oligomers during
dyeing phase

What does it do?

The innovative HeiQ Clean Tech technology is
eco-friendly and efficient, with time, water and
energy savings of 30-40%. It enables a faster
polyester dyeing process with disperse dyes as
well as optimizing the textile product quality.

What is it for?
HeiQ Clean Tech permits high process flexibility
thanks to its suitability for most standard polyester
dyeing machines and can be applied to wovens,
knits and yarns.

Case study at Turkish mill

HeiQ Clean Tech's potential for water, energy and time consumption
savings was tested at a textile mill in Turkey in January 2016.

The total dye time of polyester was reduced from 3 h 50 min to 2 h 38

min (31% reduction). Thanks to HeiQ Clean Tech the water consumption
was reduced from 2,700 to 1,800 liters (33% reduction). Nine liters
of water were saved per kilogram of fabric, which amounts to yearly
water savings of 3.4 million liters of water per dye jet. The time savings
reduced the total usage of steam (oil heating) from 255 m3 to 101 m3
(60% reduction). Total usage of electricity (coal generated) was reduced
from 96 kW to 66 kW (31% reduction). CO2 emissions for steam and
electricity where reduced by 76 kg (31% reduction), which amounts to
2,700 tons saved annually for one dye jet. The total cost of dye for 1
kg of polyester was reduced by 5% (including the dyestuffs) and 25%
(excluding the dyestuffs). This corresponds to annual savings of USD
35,000 for each dye jet at the mill.
