The students will be able to:

Procedures: 1. For grade 1. Write on the board ordinal number from first to
tenth {1st (First), 2nd (Second), 3rd (Third), 4th (Fourth), 5th
(Fifth), 6th (Sixth), 7th (Seventh), 8th (Eighth), 9th (Ninth), 10th
(Tenth)}
2. For grade 2. Write on the board ordinal number from first to
twentieth {1st (First), 2nd (Second), 3rd (Third), 4th (Fourth),
5th (Fifth), 6th (Sixth), 7th (Seventh), 8th (Eighth), 9th (Ninth),
10th (Tenth), 11th (Eleventh), 12th (Twelfth), 13th (Thirteenth),
14th (Fourteenth), 15th (Fifteenth), 16th (Sixteenth), 17th
(Seventeenth), 18th (Eighteenth), 19th (Nineteenth), 20th
(Twentieth)}
3. For grade 1. Show them a picture that place first to tenth
(Race of cars, Racehorse, Running Race, and honor
ranking).
4. For grade 2. Show them a picture that place first to tenth
(Race of cars, Racehorse, Running Race, and honor
ranking).
5. Give an example on the board, example show them a picture
of running race. Write on the board the name of the runners
along their position.
6. Explain that Ordinal numbers represent position of things,
with respect to their place.
Evaluation: For grade 1. Show them a picture of animals that places 1st (first) to
10th (tenth) and let the students put the position of animals.
