WHAT I CAN DO

PRINCIPAL TIME (YEARS) RATE INTEREST AMOUNT

₱50,000 3 1.10% 550 ₱50,550
₱50,000 5 1.25% 625 ₱50,625
₱50,000 8 1.75% 875 ₱50,875

We need also to consider the duration of the investment.

POSIBLE QUESTION

 How long do you want to invest this amount of money?

 What is your daily income?
 Do you want to increase your investment?
 Who will be your beneficiary?

DISADVANTAGES

 At the first term there is lesser rate compared to the two terms.
 The second term has greater rate but longer time to gain such interest compared to the first term
 The third term has the greatest rate but have the longest time to gain interest compared to the two terms.

ADVICE

 I will advise them to use the first term because it gain interest faster than the two terms. When you use a constant
duration of time in each term, the first one doubles the interest quickly compared to the two terms that have greater
rate but longer time.
