THE SOTER RS
The intended use of the Soter RS is to legitimately search for concealed
contraband in the human body. The Soter RS intentionally exposes people to
ionizing radiation for non-medical purposes. The Soter RS shall not be used
frivolously where no security benefit is to be derived. According to the ANSI/
HPS N43.17 - 2009 the Soter RS is a Category 2 (Limited Use), Class A (Full
Body) scanner.
