On-Prem: Size is for the machine(s)/VM(s) that covers loader + analytics + Spark for the largest environment
Non-Production: Non-Production environments are priced at 50% of the Production Environment. Choice of same sized environment running less than 50% of the time, or half sized environment running
up to 100%.
Limitations: Spark is scalable but limited by size-tier. Enterprise Tier has 2x Spark vs. Standard. I/O: will be monitored to ensure non-abuse of data load volume/frequency, and large table full (re)loads.
Monitoring: Performance monitoring measures overall resource utilization in the environment. “Redline” performance means (a) need to scale back on use of resources (e.g., rescheduling loads) or
(b) need for upgrading to larger environment.

Incorta’s pricing model is not based on individual resource consumption (e.g., aggregate quantity of data ingested via loads or ingress/egress charges). The philosophy is that customers can basically consume as much as any given
environment size allows. There are only a couple of caveats to this principle. One is that customers leverage best practices and pursue incremental loading in general, especially for their largest tables (e.g., transaction tables in an ERP).
The largest 25% of the tables by data size are restricted to full (re)loads a maximum of 1x/week in the Standard Tier, and 1x/day in the Enterprise Tier. Smaller tables (e.g, not in the top 25%) are exempt from such limitation. This limitation
is to ensure that customers are using best practices in their implementation (i.e., focusing on incremental loads), and to avoid unnecessary cost and resource consumption related to ingress/egress charges in order to preserve the “one
amount for everything” pricing model.

Production and Medium Non-Production). Must be specified on the order form. If non-production utilization exceeds 50% over 2 quarters in a year, Incorta will treat the environment as a production and will bill

environment. For a Medium-Standard environment, typical inputs that would lead to “redline” might include: (i) exceeding 50 concurrent users, (ii) exceeding 25% of total
workloads being consumed by advanced analytics (spark), (iii) data volumes approaching 500 million records, and/or (iv) load refreshes attempting to achieve near real-time
data on the largest tables.
