Professional Career
Communication is very integral/necessary in our lives- be it personal or professional. Communication
also improves relationships, both with employees and in our personal life with friends and family
members. It develops trust, integrity, and most importantly a genuine connection among the
communicators. Communication is the key to success in our personal relationships and in the
workplace/professional career too.

Effective communication is about conveying important information from one source to another. If
that information is communicated clearly and effectively, businesses are more likely to run
efficiently. Communication is vital to both team and individual success in the workplace or
professional career. Clear communication at work can help you avoid misunderstandings, develop
strong relationships with your coworkers and establish yourself as a valuable member of the team
Successful communication at work can prevent tension and help people work as a team, which is
important in any industry.

Communication is an important part of all relationships and is an essential part of any healthy
partnership. All relationships have ups and downs, but a healthy communication style can make it
easier to deal with conflict and build a stronger partnership. Effective communication is important to
career success because leaders who build a culture of positive communication can help a business
reach its goals with greater efficiency, produce satisfied workers and improve brand identity.

Realistic Example:
During my first year at work, I had almost no professional interactions, I just observed people but
then I thought to myself “I spent all this time observing people? I had no good communication skills.
I was very nervous and feel anxiety. I was not well communicating interdepartmental
communication in the workplace and not well deal with my relevant office colleagues and was not
convince them properly.

After 02-3 years, now in this professional life/time, I am a receiving, sending, and processing a large
number of messages & email every day in professional or personal life. I am able to communicate in
an easier way that is more satisfying for me. I can deepen relations in personal life or professional
life. In personal life, I help to understand better people, help in better decision making. and
situations that happen on a daily basis in in professional or personal life. Now I can improve
employee engagement, teamwork, decision-making, and interdepartmental communication in the
workplace by improving communication skills.
