story:
(Being the best)
K Moving Services is an entrepreneurial success story that Chuck Kuhn started almost 40
years ago in the basement of his parents’ home. Since then, we’ve grown to become the largest
independent moving company in the nation.
We’ve done so by striving to always be the best and living by our core values and brand promise of
care and respect. JK has become a global leader in the relocation and logistics space, yet focuses
each day on what matters most: our customers, our employees, and our community.

problems:

1.    Traffic Problems
Traffic issues can make you fail to deliver in time. Several things happen on the road, most of which
are out of your control.

2.    Weather Problems
As a mover, you can play your part to perfection, but once in a while, weather can let you down.
Weather is quite unpredictable, and bad things might happen when you least expect them.

3.    Customer Service Problems

Many moving companies have collapsed because of poor customer service. Providing undivided
attention and care to customers is very important for the growth of a business. You might find
yourself busy running the day-to-day business operations forgetting that the business exists because
of the customers.

4.    Moving at Full Capacity

Whenever you land a good moving deal, you might exert yourself by packing your truck to full
capacity and put all the trucks on the road. The problem with using all your resources at the same
time is that there will be a remedy should a problem occur.
5.    Last-Minute Rush
When you push yourself to work at full capacity, you may be forced to hire some resources. You
may hire a freelance driver or a mover on contract. While these may work just fine, they come with
their challenges, especially if you make last-minute arrangements.

6.    Overestimating Your Capability

The number of items you can move depends on the number of trucks you have and their capacities.
So before taking a moving contract, find out what needs to be moved and whether you have the
capability to move them.

7.    Difficult Loading or Unloading Circumstances

A customer should let you know in advance any difficulties you may face while loading and
unloading the items to be moved. However, some customers don't do this, leaving your team to
make their judgment.
