In addition, the previous two free call services offered by Shine Mobile Services has additional more boosted Shine Mobile Services representation as a telecom service with a caring approach towards its customers. This feasibility report goings-on to addresses the issue, as to why our proposed new Free Call Service would be counter productive for Shine Mobile Services at this point in time, based on the following points: 1) Shine Mobile Services was launched ten months ago and as such still has to further build a considerable subscriber base on a resemblance with our adjacent contender competitors and therefore, introducing yet another Free Call Service package will march into our already low profit edge. 2) Our top three opponent participants, having a head start of one-year; initially charged a minimum Rs7/- per minute, and with the introduction of new technology in the telecom service industry their overhead operations and networking costs significantly dropped to Rs2.50/- per minute. 3) Shine Mobile Services launched its operations with an initial service rate of Rs3.00/- per minute, which is still the lowest service rate for any mobile telecom service in Pakistan and as such it is not inexpensively feasible for Shine Mobile Services to bring in yet another free package particularly when we are already contributing two free call packages to our appreciated subscribers. Therefore, this feasibility report concludes with the request that instead of introducing our new Free Call Service package, Shine Mobile Services should study the following recommendations prepared after conducting the above survey report: a. Devise a fresh strategy to firstly increase our subscriber base. b. Consider lowering the cost of Shine Mobile Service SIM card. c. Introduce some other package for our valued subscribers after under taking a comprehensive market, profit margin and technical infrastructure feasibility report. Truly yours, X. Y. Z.
