The DRR/CCA Enhanced-PDPFP 2014-2022was further enriched and refined

through the assistance of other national and provincial agencies, local government units,
Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), private sectors and other stakeholders.

The PLPEM Core Team commends all the Local Chief Executives (LCEs) of 31
municipalities and three (3) cities as well the City/Municipal Planning and Development
Coordinators being the partners in various development undertakings as well as their full
support during the planning process.

Also, the Team wishes to acknowledge the national line agencies and members of
the Regional Land Use Committee (RLUC), especially NEDA IV-A, HLURB IV-A, DENR IV-
A, Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), CHD, CHED, and DPWH for providing technical
guidance and policy direction in the review, fine-tuning, preparation of maps, and finalizing
the draft PDPFP 2014-2022, in order to ensure the coherence and consistency of the
documents to the PLPEM Guidelines.

Likewise, gratitude to neighboring provinces of Batangas, particularly Cavite

Province, is hereby extended for their support especially in sharing insights for the
preparation of this plan and in providing information related to external linkages.

Honorable VILMA SANTOS RECTO, provided insights which helps in the formulation
of this plan and makes it more complementary and responsive to her program of
governance.

Honorable HERMILANDO I. MANDANAS, supplemented inputs that makes this plan

more reactive to the current social and economic needs of the Province anchored in his
HELP Program where H stands for Health, E for Education, L for Livelihood and P for
Protection of Life Environment and Properties.

The PPDO Staff, being the Technical Secretariat and lead agency of PDPFP-TWG
which has, in particular, provided technical and administrative assistance in the course of
updating this document. In general, they assisted in the day-to-day functioning of the
PDPFP-TWG.

We also extend our thanks to the representative of private and non-governmental

entities for their participation during consultations.

Furthermore, we wish to express our recognition to all other private and government
