Self-Development Program - Noval BSN 1 N 2
Problem: These are the elements that motivate you to fix your system; it is the major event of self-
development.
List of Goals: Career, education and training, finances, relationships (family, friends, and coworkers),
health, hobbies and interests are all significant aspects of your life.
Time Interval: Sensible timing and deadlines for what you can achieve.
Review of Action Plan: This section highlights the whole blueprint that can assist you in meeting your
system's objectives and goals.
CAREER
Problem: So far, medicine has been my preferred professional path, but I am occasionally apprehensive
and terrified of entering it because I am concerned that I lack the necessary expertise to implement it in
the actual world.
Goal: To enjoy the prerequisite course while learning and applying it to real-world situations daily.
Practice makes perfect, and I'll be able to implement what I've learned from my failures soon, but for
now, I'll focus on my next step because I'm still in my first year of college school.
Time Interval: This four-year plan would be able to shape me into someone more mature and prepared
for the next stage of the adventure. With strong perseverance, enthusiasm, and optimism, I believe I
would finish college and be able to study for the board examinations to become a certified nurse, after
which I will be able to decide whether to pursue the medical degree I want.
Action Plan
This action plan will guide me from the beginning, when I am currently in undergrad, through the end of
nursing school, to studying for the board examination. Following that, obtaining the license, and
determining whether to pursue more medical occupations or continue as a nurse would be critical.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Problem: My main fear for this semester is that I tend to receive a lot of bad grades on various
important courses because of difficulty in establishing a study regimen; this often results in me being
mentally blocked when taking a test.
Goal: To discover the most effective study habit I can develop to use when studying.
Time Interval: This will most likely take me three weeks to complete because I will be experimenting
with different study methods.
Action Plan
This is a short-term aim that must be implemented soon since it is critical to my own educational
system. This will assist me remember what I need to write down when I'm studying. Furthermore,
having a study routine is beneficial for future purposes since it allows me to think on what routine I may
have in other circumstances.
FINANCES
Problem: My difficulty is that every time I receive my monthly allowances, I always split it before
spending it, but it is always spent, and my remaining funds for savings are depleted owing to
unnecessary expenditures and splurges on food. I need to control this practice because when I talk
about money, I talk about both short-term and long-term goals.
Goal: My only goal is to work on my financial expenditures, such as knowing when and how necessary it
is to buy certain items, and to control my eating habits because it will always have two different
outcomes: it will affect my health and it will affect my decision-making strategies, which will reflect on
many future experiences.
Time Interval: It will always take time to cope with new conditions, but this objective represents both
the endless and finite timelines in my life.
Action Plan
The financial target is being met in this part. My objectives are specified and projected for the present
and near future, with a detailed description of how they will be accomplished and the ultimate
outcomes. It's long, but the idea and objective are the same.
RELATIONSHIPS (FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND CO-WORKERS)
Problem: My family is presently residing in the United States of America; I contact them every day, but
due to our hectic schedules, our communication via video chatting is limited; nonetheless, there is still a
link. Due of my unavailability, I occasionally receive delayed news from them.
Goal: The only thing I want to do is chat to them and catch up on their lives. Also, discuss my future
ambitions for my schooling so that they can keep up with me.
Time Interval: With our school's new method, after one week of managing my life and academics, I'll be
able to be with them online and catch up on everything I've missed.
Action Plan
This action plan is basically a roadmap for how I want to make amends with my family matters. It's also a
terrific opportunity for me to connect with my family since we're all getting older, and when they're
away from me, I want them to know that I'm still there for them, listening and supporting them in any
way I can.
HEALTH
Problem: Addressing my lifestyle, I am concerned that my poor eating habits may have resulted in the
development of diseases that would adversely affect my health, which is unacceptable because, as an
aspiring nurse/doctor, I should be the one to care for my patients.
Goal: To develop a healthy routine that includes exercise, balancing my food, and nourishing my spirit
through reading, meditation, and focusing on specific activities that will benefit my wellbeing.
Time Interval: This is my three-month objective for this year, and I want to see the benefits of my efforts
in February of next year.
Action Plan
This will completely transform my system because it includes psychologically shifting from a basic
routine to a more concrete and healthier one. I feel this will help me organize and strengthen myself so
that I can face any future challenges. Most significantly, my health is my general asset, and it is my
obligation to protect it so that I can continue to do my work soon.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Problem: I've developed several interests throughout the years, but I've never considered mastered any
of them. I'd want to improve my talents on instruments, public speaking, and graphic design, but I'm not
sure if I'll be able to do so within my current schedule.
Goal: My aim is to practice and track my improvement in each of these interests so that I can determine
if they are truly beneficial to me.
Time Interval: With finals approaching, I feel that during the Christmas break (2-week goal) I can hone
my talents and show them off before the New Year.
Action Plan
This is my main objective for my hobbies and interests; there are three hobbies listed, and I'm not sure
about one of them due to a lack of mastery or practice, but with this plan, I should be able to make it
and show people what I'm capable of doing aside from what they've already seen from an outside
perspective.
