Looking Glass Self

Although perception is a subjective thing, the truth can be influenced by your point of view.
Perspective from different person emphasize the basis of how relationship starts and how
perceptions are formed, it allows us to recognize the minority that will never be forgotten by the
majority.

Each stranger has different impression; however, my exact personality will only be known and
define by myself. At first glance, my teacher said, it seems like I'm a happy-go-lucky individual,
but deep inside I always want to thrive and succeed. An intelligent, competitive, and industrious
student that is beautiful with a heart. Responsible enough to pass the requirements on time. A
social butterfly who shows affection to others but, at some point, very emotional. Also, some of
them met the other sides of me, which are the athletic and the artistic.

Additionally, my friends said that I am a soft but dangerous person, maybe because I rarely get
mad. I can be angelic or fierce sometimes depending on the situation, Humber, because even
though I’m not comfortable with other people, I always make sure that I will never make them
feel that way, and I am someone who values other people’s opinions and suggestions. My
parents perceive me as independent and responsible daughter which they admired so much about
me, an amazing and sweet young lady who is ambitious in a positive way. I know most parents’
have high expectation but they are keeping it low because they want me to enjoy life and studies
without pressure. I have learned to be brave and patient as I conquer my fears and fix my
problems alone.

I was known with various personality as I experience different phases of my life however, I
define myself as a person with integrity who knows the value of every individual and cares about
the purpose of my life. I am certain with my chosen profession to contribute to the world and be
part of change. I am a young seeker to answer mysteries of life. Above all, I want to be seen as
the ray of sunshine who radiates positivity to other people.

As time goes by you will be able to discern the truth about me and recognize the purity and
sincerity of my motives. Some of the strangers' impressions are opposite to the perceptions of the
people who really had the chance to get along with me. It's also different from how I perceive
myself. It made me realize that anything essential is invisible to the eyes of the beholder. Nobody
should be judged solely by their appearance. Truth be told, a person's actions and character
matter the most. Thus, rather than focusing only on a person's appearance, we must also consider
their personality and abilities.
