 ETERNAL DAMNATION
 
Teaching Objectives:
At the end of the session, the disciples must be able to:
1. Identify where God primarily saved them.
2. Describe hell and identify its location.
3. Identify the descriptions of Jesus about hell.
4. Determine the reasons for thanksgiving.
5. State the major reason why the Gospel has to be preached to
everyone.
6. Identify and refute the wrong beliefs regarding hell and
damnation.
7. Read several passages in the Bible regarding God’s wonderful

Cluster Activities and Output:
At the end of the session, the disciples should have:
A. Recited II Peter 3:18, the memory verse of the second lesson.
B. Filled-up the blanks in their worksheets.
C. Produced book marks warning people about the coming demise in
hell of people who reject God’s simple plan of salvation.
D. Produced a memory verse wallet-size card for reference for next
meeting.
  
Lesson Proper
Prayer
Follow-up disciples’ commitments from the last lesson.
1 Solicit responses to the tracts they have distributed. Record
those who were able to successfully distributed tracts.
2 Record those disciples who were able to bring at least one
of the members of their family or close relatives in Church.
Congratulate them.
Song: “Saved, Saved” from songbook page 17.
 
Recitation of memory verse: Ask for volunteers for the memory verse
from past lesson (II Pet. 3:18). Congratulate the reciters. Record.
 
Introduction:
Saan ba tayo iniligtas ng Dios? – Sabi ng iba, ligtas sila dahil may
bahay at may pagkain. Yung iba naman ligtas daw sila sa sakit at sa
mga kalamidad.

Pero kapag tinanong natin kung ligtas na sila sa impiyerno o kaya
tiyak na ba nila na sa langit sila pupunta, kalimitan ang sagot nila ay:
“Hindi pa.” “Wala naming nakatitiyak.”
Maraming salamat sa Dios sapagkat tayo ay may katiyakan. Alam
natin na dahil kay Hesus, tayo ay iniligtas na niya sa tiyak na
kaparusahan sa impiyerno!
 
A. Dalawang lugar lamang ang patutunguhan ng tao kapag namatay.
Basahin nang sabayan ang Luke 16:19-31. Pagkatapos ay sagutan
ang mga patlang. Gamitin ang salitang ginamitsa King James Bible
kung ito ang hinihingi ng patlang.
1 Ang dalawang tinutukoy dito ay si Lazarus na pulubi at
isang mayaman (certain rich man) na di napinangalanan
ngPanginoong Hesus.
2 Pareho silang namatay. Si Lazarus ay dinala ng mga
mayaman ay nagmulat sa impiyerno (in hell he lift his
eyes).
3 Walang purgatory na sinasabing “temporary repose of the
sinner.”
4 Wala ring limbo na sinasabing pupuntahan ng mga
nangamatay na mga sanggol.
5 Hindi rin binanggit na kapag namatay ang isang tao ay
wala na siya. Ayon sa mga ibang pananampalataya ito ay
annihilation o soul sleep.
6 Si Lazarus ay inaaliw (but now he is comforted)
samantalang ang mayaman ay naghihirap (and thou art
tormented).
7 Ang sabi ng iba, ito ay parabola. Hindi ito totoo sapagkat
kung parabola ito ay hindi magbabanggit ng pangalan
angPanginoon.
 
B. Ano ang impiyerno?
Hindi ito kathang isip o simbolo lang ng paghihirap. Ito ay literal na
lugar. (Basahin ang mga sumusunod na talata. Hayaang sabihin nila
ang kanilang sagot sa patlang. Pagkatapos ay ibigay ang tamang
kataga at hayaang isulat nila ito sa mga patlang. Sa pagtala ng mga
nawawalang kataga, mangyaring iparamdam sa mga disciples ang
ibig sabihin ng mga ito – maaaring ipakita sa reaksiyon sa mukha o
sa anumang paraan na mararamdaman nila ang katotohanan ng
impiyerno. Bigyang panahon ang pagbulay-bulay sa pagkakataong
ito.)
1. Matthew 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the
left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlastingfire,

prepared for the devil and his angels:”
2. II Peter ”For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but
cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of
darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;’ (Ayon sa science,
ang apoy habang umiinit ay nagiging madilim. Ang kandila
ay may “yellow flame,” ang gasulina mas maiinit ay may
“darkblue flame.” May nadiskubre na rin ang tinatawag na
“black flame”, na kailanman ay hindi niya natutupok ang
lahat at hindi ito nagbibigay ng liwanag.)
3. Luke 16:24 “And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have
mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of
his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented
in this flame.”
4. Revelation 20:1 “And I saw an angel come down from
heaven, having the key of the bottomlesspit and a great
chain in his hand.”(Hell will be place of constant falling.)
5. Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lakeoffire and brimstone, where the beast and
the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night
foreverandever.”
6. Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part
in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is
the seconddeath.”
7. Revelation 9:2-3 “And he opened the bottomless pit; and
there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a
greatfurnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by
reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the
smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given
power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”
8. Matthew 13:42 “And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
 
C. Ano ang sinabi ni Hesus tungkol sa impiyerno? (Basahin sa
Bibliya ang mga sumusunod habang sinasagutan ang mga patlang.)
1. Ang tumawag ng “Thou fool” sa kanyang kapatid ay
mapapahamak sa apoy ng impiyerno. (hellfire) – Matt.
5:22.
2. Ang katawan at ang kaluluwa ng tao ay sisirain sa
impiyerno. (destroy both soul and body in hell) – Matt.
10:28.
3. Ang mga lahi ng ulupong ay di makakatakas sa
kapahamakan sa impiyerno. (the damnation of hell) – Matt.
23:33.
4. Ang apoy sa impiyerno ay magpawalang hanggan. (cursed

into everlasting fire) – Matt. 25:41.
5. Ang impiyerno ay walang hanggang kaparusahan. (into
everlasting punishment) – Matt. 25:46.
6. May apoy at uod na hindi namamatay sa impiyerno.
(Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched)
-- Mark 9:43-48.
 
D. Malagimnalugarangimpiyerno.Dito sa malagim na lugar itatapon
ang mga makasalanan. Ito ang karampatang parusang kahit isa
lamang na kasalanan. Ganito ang galitng Dios sa kasalanan.
 
Memory verse:
Rom. 6:23. (Basahin ng malakas. Bigyang diin ang sugnay na
“wages of sin is death”. Ang kabayaran ng kasalanan,
hindi mga kasalanan, ay kamatayan. Pagtapos ay ipasulat
sa mga disciples ang memory verse sa kanilang mga
worksheets.)
 
E. Totoo ang impiyerno. Huwag itong ipagwalang bahala. May mga
taong ginagawang biro ang impiyerno. Maging mga komersiyal sa
telebisyon ay ginagawang biro ang impiyerno. Hindi ito kinalulugdan
ng Dios. Marami ang patungo dito sa maling akala. Dapat lamang
na malaman nila ang katotohanan ng impiyerno.
 
Challenge and Commitments
A. Isulat sa inyong worksheets ang mga taong dapat ninyong bigyan ng
babala ukol dito.
B. Isulat din kung papano bibigyang babala. (Pwedeng magbigay ng tracts,
sumali sa soul winning, at mag-imbita sa simbahan.) 
 
Other Activities
A. Ibahagi ang mga wallet sized card. Ipasulat sa mga disciples ang memory
verse.
B. Ipamahagi ang mga blankong bookmarks. Magpasulat sa mga disciples ng
mga warning signs o warning words ukol sa impiyerno. Sabihin sa kanila
na ibigay ito sa mga taong gusto nilang bigya ng babala sa
kapahamakan sa impiyerno.
