1. Would you choose local products over products from these foreign companies? Why?
I would gladly choose local products over foreign products since local products are more affordable for me. It also
helps our country that we purchase our own local products since the money that we use to buy those local product
will help to increase our economy.
2. With what you have listed, do you have ideas where and when these companies started to produce goods?
Most of the products that I’ve listed above are from foreign country. Brands like Fila, Nike, and Adidas are establish
in nineteen-hundreds as well as lucky me, and Jollibee. While brands like Coca-cola, Nestle, and Lipton are
establish in eighteen-hundreds.
I think because it’s connected to globalization. Since consumer is important in globalization or in economy generally
especially in businesses and company’s performance.
4. What is the difference between the standard of living and the quality of life?
Standard of living refers to the level of wealth, comfort, material goods, and necessities available in a ceratin society
or location. In simple words, it is the welfare provided to the residents of a country. Quality of life is defined by the
World Health Organization as the perception of individuals regarding their position in life, in the context of the culture
and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns.
5. What are some ways you can assess the standard of living?
Since the standard of living is measured by things such as incomes, employment opportunities, the cost of goods and
services in a certain society it is important to have a good and growing economy.
