Basic Tips for Writing an Excuse Letter

  It should be written in a formal manner.
 It should include a date, name of the recipient, position and address.
 Should include a formal salutation.
 The body of the letter should have the reasons for the excuse in
addition to the date.
 It should be brief and straight to the point, should not have
unnecessary information.
 Any prove documents such as medical reports and legal documents
should be attached to the letter.
 The documents attached should be mentioned in the body of the
letter.
 It should end with words of gratitude, respect, sincerity and a
signature.
