1. USER LOG IN

New User Registration page will display. Fill in Login Credentials

2. HOME
Below are the various sections where user can search with respect to different nature of
records, citations, articles, news etc.

2.1.1.3 Search History Shortcut
On clicking search lens icon or left / right arrow icons, user can view the search history in the
drop down menu. On selecting an option, the contents is automatically displayed in the free
text search bar. (Refer - 5. 7 My Search History)

2.1.2.2 Arrow Buttons
User can browse further results by clicking on Next / Previous arrow buttons in the bottom
right or by changing the page number above the footer note.

2.1.2.3 Keyword Highlight & Links
Search keywords (Eg: Tax) is highlighted in yellow color. Bare Acts included in the
corresponding search results are hyperlinked, which on clicking opens in seperate tab for
further research purpose. By clicking on any of the results, user can view the complete
judgement displayed in a separate tab. (Refer - 9. Full Content Section)

User can refine the result further by adding another keyword in the search box, applying
conditions as displayed in the grey strip, choosing sections from the blue strip or adding
filters from the drop down menus.
2.1.2.4.3 Sort
Sort option requires user to apply sort order (A to Z or Z to A) for Judge, Date of Decision
and Bench Type.

Select option from Sort field and click on first ‘Apply’ button.
If user feel user want to apply the selected sort then user click on ‘APPLY’ button and the
records will display in the applied Sort order. Also user have option to delete the applied
sort by clicking on Cross symbol next to selected sort option and user can remove all applied
sort by clicking on ‘REMOVE’ button.

2.1.2.4.6 Hide / Show AIR Law Line
Hide or show the AIR Law Line - Point Extracts under every search result

2.1.2.4.8 Search in Other Products
It can be used when a user has subscribed for a selective product database, he can get
results from other product databases as well which will be payable for further use.
Eg: If the user has subscribed to ‘Supreme Court Product’, the results displayed will only be
from Supreme Court database. To view results from the ‘High Courts’ database, he will have
to click on Search in Other Products’ feature.
Note: Users subscribed to all products (i.e. complete package), will receive the same results
even after clicking on Search in Other Products feature.

2.1.2.4.9 Download Cases Report
For summary of judgements in form cases report, click on Download Cases Report.
Type in the number of cases required, followed by clicking on the Download button.
A pdf copy will be generated with Publication Citation Text, Primary Petitioner, Primary
Respondent and Court details.

2.1.2.4.10 Number of Search Result
The number of search results displayed can be altered by selecting the number from the
drop down menu displayed in the pop-up box – 5,10,15,20
Clears all the selected search filters and redirects to homepage after clicking OK button in
the pop-up box

2.1.2.4.12 Save Current Search
To save the current search for future reference, fill the details as shown in the pop-up in the
below screenshot. It includes Save Search Title and Description. Further create / rename /
delete folder by right clicking on the folders and then select a folder to store the Saved
Search. Click on the Submit button to complete the process.
Note: Access the current save search by selecting My Saved Search from the User Data drop
down menu (Refer: 5.2 My Saved Search)

2.1.2.4.13 Blue Icons
There are multiple options in form of blue icons given next to each search result for user
convenience, explained as follows:
2.1.2.4.13.2 Bookmark
To save a particular search result for future reference, fill the details as shown in the pop-up
in the below screenshot. It includes Bookmark title, Description, Relevant Paragraph
Number(s). Further create / rename / delete folder by right clicking on the folders and then
select a folder to store the bookmark. Click on the Bookmark button to complete the
process.
Note: Access the saved record by selecting My Bookmarks from the User Data drop down
menu (Refer - 5.1 My Bookmarks)

2.1.2.4.13.3 Topics
To save a particular search result for future reference in existing topic-wise folders
prepared by AIR experts, fill the details as shown in the pop-up in the below screenshot. It
already includes citation as Topic Title, while the user has to fill up the Description and
select from the suggested folders. Further create / rename / delete folder by right clicking
on the folders and then select a folder to store the topic. Click on the Submit button to
complete the process.
Note: Access the saved record by selecting My Topics from the User Data drop down menu
(Refer - 5.4 My Topics)

2.1.2.4.13.4 Case Research
To save a particular search result for building up on an old or starting a new case research,
fill the details as shown in the pop-up in the below screenshot. It already includes Case
Research Title, Party Name, Court Name, Date of Decision, while the user has to fill up the
Description and select from two options - Old case research & New Case Research. Click on
the Submit button to complete the process.
Note: Access the saved record by selecting My Case Research from the User Data drop down
menu (Refer - 5.7 My Case Research)

Alternatively, My Case Research icon appears upon selecting certain content from the
search results.
Clicking on the same will autofill the description box with the selected text in the Case
Research pop-up box.

2.2 Specific Search
For precise queries on all relevant parameters, legal research and referencing, AIR offers
category based search to make your work efficient and effective. Choose the desired
category and search your way using flexible and intuitive filters.

After the Citation Search page opens up, user can Print the judgement, view Full Judgement
or save the record under the following three options: Bookmark, My Topics, My Case
Research.

Refine your search using a combination of parameters like And / Or, Case Details, Citation,
Act, Parties and Free Text Search. Find the desired result at a click without having to jump
through multiple layers and filters.
Type in the parameter text boxes or selecting from the options suggested in the drop down
menu. The filters will get listed in yellow boxes on top, which can be crossed to delete a
particular filter.

2.4 Browse
Scan through alphabetically listed Bare Acts, chronologically arranged Citations or E-Books
categorized by title and publisher. Seamlessly navigate through the entire database,
bookmark the desired content for direct access and create your own notes for future
reference.

2.4.2 Citation
Select Year, followed by Publication Name and Segment (includes Full Report / Note of
Cases) for AIR journals. On the right side, list of citations will be displayed, which on clicking
will display full contents in a new tab.
2.4.3 E-Books
Select from the two filter drop down menus of Book Title and Book Publisher. The desired
book results will be displayed below, which on clicking will display full contents in a new tab.

We have the right feature for you, when your reference utility for citation search is
infrequent. It becomes economical when you are charged, based on your usage. Enter your
query for a quick search or refine your results by choosing from the parameters listed in
drop down menus.

User data customization forms the core objective of aironline.in website.

selected record. There are additional options of edit, delete and rename for folders as well
as cases, along with print all cases and print individual record features.
5.6 My Mailbox
Regular mails are sent by the admin to update on new features, content, schemes and
offerings being introduced. User issues and queries are also addressed by the support team
