1 SCOPE
1.1 This MATERIAL REQUISITION defines the specific requirements for the design,
manufacture, test and supply of subsea umbilical systems. All general requirements
shall be according to the CONTRACT MATERIAL REQUISITION

3 SCOPE OF SUPPLY
3.1 MATERIALS

3.1.1 Materials scope of supply according to subsea layouts and Table 3-I. Components
interfaces/terminations according to reference [2].

3.1.2 When not requested by PETROBRAS the use of umbilical joints shall be
highlighted and justified by SUPPLIER and approved by PETROBRAS.

3.1.6 The anchoring collars shall be supplied with shackles according to Table 3-II.
Shackles shall be bolt type with safety pin.

3.1.7 If rigid joint/bend restrictor for top end termination/bend stiffener use fuse cables
of pull-in kit, a set of cables shall be supplied for handling and a set of cables shall
be supplied for pull-in.

3.1.8 The materials not assembled on umbilical shall be delivered in closed boxes, not
be loose in box, be corrosion protected (coated with lubricant, oil, wax, varnish…),
have all threads lubricated and protected and be packed (tape, plastic…).

4 FIT-UP TEST
4.1 Fit-up tests are required between umbilical and subsea equipment that are
PETROBRAS scope of supply. SUPPLIER shall provide an umbilical dummy
termination and a representative for the tests.

4.2 Test may be performed in subsea equipment supplier facility or in PETROBRAS

logistic bases.
