OPERATION OF THE AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC
SYSTEM USING A SINGLE-SPOOL,
DOUBLE-ACTING HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE

This section of the manual deals with the tractor preparation and operation of the
hydraulic system using the accessory code 677 464 single-spool, double-acting hy-
draulic control valve used on the MF 25 and MF 130 Tractors. With the addition of
this valve, one single-acting or one double-acting remote cylinder can be operated.

AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

The auxiliary hydraulic system, as found in the MF 175 and MF 180 Tractors,
consists of a control valve, single or double-spool, hydraulic hoses and hose coup-
lers. This system is completely independent of the internal lift system, and is cap-
able of providing 7 U.S. - 5, 8 Imp gpm @ 2,000 engine rpm for external hydraulic
services. When operating three-point hitch-mounted implements (draft or position-
controlled), pressure control implements, or semi-mounted implements that require
a remote cylinder (either single or double-acting) to assist in the operation or control
of the implement, the auxiliary hydraulic system will be used for these purposes and
will not interfere with the operation of the internal Draft Control, Position Control or
Pressure Control system.

valves and to the fitting on the combining valve.
To provide the combined flow, turn the switch

place the hydralever in constant pumping. The
combined flow would then be controlled by the

one double-acting cylinder can be operated, To
return the system to normal operation, move
