JUSTIFICACIÓN: Permitir al aprendiz aplicar lo aprendido con ejercicios prácticos con el fin de mejorar
sus habilidades de lectura y conocimiento gramatical

OBJETIVOS: a. Identificar estructuras gramaticales en textos cortos


b. Reconocer vocabulario.
c. Mejorar su habilidad de lectura a través de texto sobre temas varios.

ACTIVIDADES: a. Lectura de texto, comprensión de lectura.

EVALUACIÓN: a. El estudiante deberá descargar el documento, desarrollarlo y enviarlo a través


del link de la plataforma aunar virtual.

MANNERS IN THE UK

Every year, thousands of foreign college students travel to the UK to study. It is an exciting and
challenging time for them. One thing that can make the experience more positive, is to learn a few
basic etiquette rules. The local people will be much more willing to help you if they see you trying!

When you first meet someone:


 Shake hands and smile.
 Learn a little “small talk” talking about family, sports, films, books and hobbies are all excellent
conversation starters when meeting new people.
 Avoid subjects that include age, money, politics and gossip s these can be sensitive topics for
different cultures.
 Show interest in the person you are talking to; make eye contact and use the person´s name
throughout the conversation. This way, you will make them feel comfortable.

Food etiquette:
 Always b polite – say “please” and “thank you”.
 If someone invites you to their home for dinner, arrive on time. It is rude to be early or late.
 It you can´t eat certain food because of allergies, simply say “No, thanks you”
 Always use a knife and fork correctly. If it is finger food you can eat it with your hands. Never
lift your plate or bowl of the table.
