CFM56-7B
The fan and LPC rotor and the LPT rotor are on the same low pressure shaft(N1). the
HPC rotor and the HPT rotor are on the same high pressure shaft (N2).
3. What kind of bearing support the engine rotor`s and what kind of loads absorb?
Ball bearings absorb axial and radial loads from the shafts. roller bearings absorb only
radial loads.
Calculates the amount of fuel tank needed to perform the commanded thrust
6. When the EEC can operate the ignition system in automatic mode?
The ignition exciters supply power to spark igniters. the ignition exciters change 115v ac
to 15,000 - 20,000vdc
Sends HPC 4th-stage and 9th stage air to the high pressure turbine (HPT) shoud support
Sends fan discharge air to the low pressure turbine (LPT) case. the air flows through the
LPTACC valve
VBV also keep water out of the HPC and prevent foreingn object damage
The thrust lever resolvers change the mechanical forward and reverse thrust lever
positions to analog.
Changes the direction of the fan air exhaust to help create reverse thrust.
The engine oil system supplies oil to lubricate, cool, and clean the engine bearings and
gears
17. Where are located the service door, entry door and emergency door in the aircraft?
Service doors are on the right side of the airplane the forward entry door is on the left side
of the upper forward fuselaje the emergency exit doors are above the wings.
18. When the door warning system is activated?
The door warning system give the crew a visual indication when a door is not
secure (not closed)
Flight compartment windows hater and waste system lines and draons and rain controls.
The wing termal anti-ice and the engine in the cowl terminal anti-ice.
21. What does it mean when the on green light come on in the window heat control panel?
Four green on lights give an indication of the status of window heat to the no 1 and 2
windows.
23. How much time the FDR store aircraft parameters and system data?
Provides a visual alert to the flight crew for incorrect airplane system
operation.
25. Where is located the two master caution lights and the two master warning lights?
P7
