Roundtable Guidelines

Objective: To discuss different perspectives on Social Inequality.

Procedure:

1. Read the following materials and other related ones that may be relevant to the topic, and
may contribute to the discussion:

4. Extract the main ideas, and make notes about the articles as the roundtable will be
based on the reading.

5. Students will get together in groups of 5 (or 10 for the in class-roundtable discussion)
for the Online Conversation, according to your teacher’s directions. The teacher will
provide you with the schedule available and you will decide when you will participate.

6. The session will be moderated by the teacher, who will pose questions towards the
topic.
7. You can only bring/use your notes. You must not have the readings printed, on
your screen or downloaded on your devices.

8. Evaluation:
You will be evaluated in terms of:

Grammar /5p Grammar mistakes within the oral speech


Fluency /5p No pauses that affect understanding
Pronunciation /5p Understandable / clear pronunciation
Content /5p Sufficient / Many participations related to the
subject
