YuvnamPvt.Ltd, as part of its strategy, acquired a constructed shade of 4000Sq.Feet area as rental
basis at- Plot No. 72, Near Government High School, Karamtoli, P.O - Gutuwa,, Ranchi, Jharkhand
intending to set up anIntegrated Manufacturing Facility in the said land, which will aid in meeting
current and future market requirements.
Accordingly a project report is prepared to carry forward the project for implementation.

INTRODUCTION
The manufacturing facility is planned with maximum thrust on resource productivity including
manpower. The project design and construction shall comply with applicable GMP guidelines. The
said integrated plant shall include:
Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturing Plant : The plant shall meet requirement of product like
Chyawanprash,Swarna Raj Bangeshwar, Ras Sindoor,BolParpati, PanchamritaParpati,Avaleh
Pak, AyurvedicProprietary Medicine, Bhasmaetc to cater markets of Bihar, Jharkhand, &other
states.
Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturing Plant: The Plant will be designed for total Ten (10)
MT/year Capacity.

PROPOSED PLANT LOCATION
The proposed Manufacturing Facility is located in - Plot No. 72, Near Government High School,
Karamtoli, P.O – Gutuwa, Jharkhand PIN- 835303 District-Ranchi. The area of the plot is around
4000 Sq.Feet
Ranchi is the largest city and state capital in Indian state of Jharkhand.
Nearest Airport
Ranchi is connected to other parts of India through national and state highways. The major highways
are:

Project Timelines:
The Project is planned to be completed within 3 months from the start of the project.

MANPOWER
The proposed Facility is designed to be operated in 1 shift for an estimated 300 Days in a years.
The estimated total employment generated comprising of direct & indirect employment shall be about
20.
Herbs & Spices, will be received by suitable vehiclePackaging material will be received by trucks.
Apart from receiving of Raw materials & packaging materials, trucks will be used for outward
movement of Finished Products Scrap generated will be disposed in the local market.
After the receipt of the material at the factory premises, same will be kept in quarantine for quality
check. When the quality is approved, the same would be sent to R.M/PM store.
UTILITIES
Utilities will be designed centrally so that it caters to all the plants under consideration. Estimated
utilities requirement is given below:

Power:
It is proposed to draw state grid power through a transformer of suitable capacity.
Water:
Water will be stored in tanks to meet requirements. The standards that will be followed are:
1. Water for people usage to be as per applicable domestic statutes .
2. Laboratory water standard for water in laboratory for general usage.as per application of
the tests / instrumentation .
Fuel: Only used for D.G.Set operation.D.G .Set meet the stringent CPCB 2 Norms for Noise &
Exhaust Emissions.
The Matrix below gives the space requirement in case of use of various type of fuel

Generation of Effluent and treatment:
Thus plant will not generate significant volume of Effluent which can be of any environmental
concern. Waste water for general use will be discharged through Municipal drain.
Solid Wastes
Thus plant will not generate significant volume of solid waste which can be of any environmental
concern. Scraps out of the plant shall be sold as scrap.
Plant Specific Noise Levels
The noise levels are well under the limits specified by the pollution control board. An indicative table stating
the noise levels at some areas of the plant is as follows:

Necessary approval from the local fire authority shall be obtained for the project.
The local storage areas like PM and FG, will be complied by the following guidelines –
It is proposed to install adequate light within the factory workspace for the plant area to ensure smooth
operation.

o Shop floor layout is in line with the process flow starting with RM store and ending with
FG store. The raw materials shall be brought into shift / day stores in the process area and
finished goods shall be regularly removed into the FG stores.
o Roads surrounding the building shall be adequate in width to handle Lorries of maximum
loading.
o For RM & PM, racking/palletized racking may be planned in future depending on space
requirement considering product variants.
o Number of hand wash basins, urinals and water closets for workers will be planned .
o Double door with air curtains and insect catcher will be planned to factory entrance in line
with GMP requirement.
