ACT13-PARAFORMAT
Smile!
A smile is the sweetest and yet the most

inexpensive thing one can give. It cost not a

single cent to smile, but it gives immense

pleasure to the one who receives it. It requires

so little effort to smile, yet it is our most

valuable asset. A smile is quite contagious.

When we smile, everyone smiles with us. It can

change a person’s outlook of life. It can

improve one’s personality. The sight of a sweet

smile can brush away one’s trouble.

Love is Life

Love is a wonderful feeling bestowed upon us. This feeling can be found in the
hearts of everyone, from the simplest to the highest crowned man on earth. This
mysterious and unfathomable feeling can do us much wonder. When we are in
love, our life is full of absorbingly happy moments. We do things we thought we
could never do; we see more beauty everywhere we go; our senses are keener;
and we are much more alive!
TIME IS IMPORTANT
It is significant in whatever we do. But how
many of us bother to think of its value? It is true
that there is always the presence of time-today,
tomorrow and other days to come. Perhaps, that
is the reason why some people do not exert
effort to save it. Time travels so fast many
people fail to notice that is has gone by. The
way we use out time determines the extent of
our success.

ATTITUDE

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more
important than the past, than education, than money, than
circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what
other people think or say or do. It is more important than
appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a
company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is
we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will
embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we
have, and that is our attitude… I am convinced that life is
ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I
react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our
attitudes.
I
think
that I shall
never see a poem
as lovely as a tree. A
tree whose hungry mouth
is pressed against the earth’s
sweet flowing breast, a tree who
looks at God all day, and lifts her
leafy arms to pray. A tree that may in
summer wear, a nest of robins in her hair;
upon whose bosom snow has lain; who intimately
lives with rain:
Poems are made by
fools like
me
but
only
God
can
make
a
tree
