INTRODUCTION

This chapter presents "The Impact of Social Media in Promoting Online Business Of Young
Entrepreneurs Around Citi Global College Biñan Campus," which is about discovering the impact of
social media as a tool in promoting the online business of every young entrepreneur, particularly in
today's generation where people rely on what they see in their social media accounts, and it's also the
simplest and least time-consuming way of marketing your business.

However, social media is an effective tool for communicating with and reaching people in your target
market, even if they are located far from your location. By promoting your business to the largest
audience, you can reach your target sales. The entire world is available to you, and you can promote to
them. This topic will assist young entrepreneurs in starting their businesses by teaching them tips and
guidelines for advertising and managing their businesses on the internet. Nonetheless, people who tailor
their business or product to a trend can profit more because of how social media works. Furthermore,
young entrepreneurs must learn about this research for their businesses to grow and expand.

To summarize, before investing in a social media marketing strategy, carefully consider the system's
impact on your business. Having a social account to advertise your product is a good idea that can help

boost your business while spreading information about your product over a large geographical area.
However, if the platform's disadvantages outweigh the benefits, you should consider trying another

This study focuses on the role of social media in promoting the online businesses of young entrepreneurs
around the Citi Global College Biñan campus. In today's world, social media has had a significant impact
on our society and has become the simplest and quickest way to communicate with others, even those
from other countries. Social media can also be used in business. Many people use social media to make
money because it allows your business, which is online selling, to grow and spread. It is their way of
promoting their company.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This Quantitative research tries to know the impact of social media in promoting the online business of
Young entrepreneurs. This is to elaborate more about the topic and discover the subject matter.

In this research, the researchers predict that social media is the most helpful when it
comes to business, and also social media is the easiest way to promote their business because 90% of the
Philippines use social media.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

Most individuals all over the world are active on social media and use it as a different kind of platform
in their daily lives. Different types of businesses in the sector now use it as a medium. The theoretical
framework is essentially one of the key components of a study. It determines how a specific researcher
develops their his or her research challenge, how s/he approaches examining the problem, and what
significance s/he ascribes to the information gleaned from such an inquiry.

Furthermore, this section of the paper will discuss the theories associated with it. The phenomenon that
the researchers meet will pull concepts from theories, allowing them to assess its believability. This
section will explain how online businesses work, events and exfoliate specific occurrences, and the
research problem itself. Using direct mail or internet marketing allows you to boost the effectiveness of
targeting while decreasing the waste of expenditures. The various influencers are another game changer in
online market

For new vendors, the existence of online marketing may seem strange. For example, persons who have
just established their own business (e.g., students, recent graduates) and wish to grow and extend it.
However, technology is pervasive, and everyone is familiar with social media. In this scenario, the study
will look at the benefits and drawbacks of using social media to promote an online business.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The purpose of this study is to determine how social media promotes young entrepreneurs' internet
businesses. This study contributes to the understanding of social media as a medium-sized business,
taking into account its positive effects on corporate performance.

The study’s findings will benefit the people listed below in different ways.

Students: It gives students an idea and knowledge about how to use social media to promote a business,
especially since we live in a modern era where students spend the majority of their time surfing the
internet.

Teachers: Teachers will understand how effective social media is in conducting business with the younger
generation; the information provided by the researchers will serve as a guide for them to use social media
effectively.

Researchers: The findings of this study may assist the researchers in gaining knowledge and
understanding of social media. Furthermore, researchers will demonstrate credibility in the chosen topics
by providing sufficient information about the impact of social media.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The impact of social media in promoting young entrepreneurs' online businesses around Citi Global
College is the subject of this study. That will be carried out carefully utilizing a survey study design.
Young entrepreneurs in the area of Citi Global College with a specified number of 25 are the target
respondents. The impact of social media on business promotion is discussed in this study.

particular purpose.

economical way. The communication that takes place through social media allows millions of people to
network, interact, and promote businesses.

According to Jones, Borgman, and Ulusoy (2015) the purpose of this paper is to explore the role and
economic impact that the internet, specifically websites and social media, have on small businesses. It
aims to investigate the benefits available from the use of the internet and social media sites for small
businesses that operate in underserved regions.

“When building your social media strategy for your business, it helps to learn from what other people in
your industry are saying and doing. When it comes to your social media marketing plan, there’s no point
in re-inventing the wheel. Instead, take advice from businesses that have found success when using
social.” (Jazxhi 2018)

According to Harrasi, and Hackro (2021), Social media helps innovate new technology to improve
business management efficiency, gain a good level of customer satisfaction and loyalty, and gain good
feedback to business Customer services

“Social media has now crept into the boardrooms of business organizations and just like the internet; it
has transformed the selling and buying processes. Though social media is a recent phenomenon, it has
proven to be just as effective as or even more effective than traditional marketing.” (Ichi 2015)

According to Yoganandan, and Vignesh (2017), Entrepreneurs are the risk taker of the business. An
Entrepreneur wants to get more information from his business. Every entrepreneur wants to know about

his business knowledge. An Entrepreneur is a founder of the business. He gains the knowledge of every
situation. An entrepreneur wants to believe the person who depends on people but not believe all the time.
Every situation wants to be taking better decision-making of his business. People may become too
different attitudes and needs for his satisfaction. So every entrepreneur wants to be satisfied his needs and
wants. A Young entrepreneur wants to start a business carefully. An Entrepreneur needs to know the
delivering situation while business decision making. An employee has been lack of knowledge about his
business. But, the entrepreneur wants to give proper training to them. So, an entrepreneur’s are activities
not an easy task. We should be discussed about the young entrepreneur’s challenges and difficulties in
detail below.

According to Giray, “Social media is not beneficial nor malevolent; it is neither neutral since it is only a
medium of whatever one wants to convey”.

Social media has evolved into a very successful marketing tool for capturing the hearts of people. Social
media is a strong platform for publicizing positive aspects of individuals and websites where people
generally connect and meet new business prospects. The goal study is study was to assess the usage of
social media in promoting tourism in Pangasinan province. In the study, the descriptive research approach
was applied. According to the data, the most popular social media platforms used by people in the
toinformationry to promote local tourism were Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, and Websites. Social
media applications served as a faster way of spreading informaction, especially for low-cost tourism
firms. According to the study's findings, social media is utilized to promote tourism
