EXPERIENCE
VOCAL Technologies Internship January 2020 to January 2021

 Tested and debugged software and hardware for various VoIP and AoIP devices and products.
 Gained experience navigating and editing different circuit schematics and simulated circuit designs in order
to find the optimal resistor and capacitor values.
 Prepared BOMs for the design engineers on Digikey by finding the necessary parts and finding
substitutions if necessary or more cost effective.
 Gained real world IC design experience by working with engineers to update and optimize existing board
designs, physically change parts on ICs when necessary, and implementing existing prototype circuits in
OrCAD.
 Constructed prototypes for testing purposes by building circuits and modelling product environments
STEM Youth Mentor October 2018 to December 2022

 Work in local schools with students from grades kindergarten to 5th, teaching basic STEM concepts through
lesson plans with interactive activities.
 Lead groups of students through their activities by educating them on new concepts while encouraging their
use and development of problem solving skills and intuition. Aimed to give young people a positive
experience with the sciences to grow their interest and understanding in STEM.
Capstone Design Project February 2021 to May 2021

 Took leadership position in group of 4 in order to design and build a NFC controlled ski lock mechanism.
 Oversaw group meetings and workflow schedule to ensure all deliverables were achieved on time and the
best possible design was accomplished
 Helped to design the overall system architecture including the bolt and arm control circuitry, the housing
for the electronics, and the processing software.
 Project was received well by professor and was recommended for the Design Project Showcase
