Subject: Furnishing of information of Court cases- review thereof.

Undersigned is directed to request all Administrative

Secretaries to kindly identify and furnish a list of cases as per the
devised format enclosed herewith as Annexure-A with full particulars
including the name of the counsel for the parties pending in the
Hon'ble High Court and subordinate courts in which any interim stay
has been granted and as a consequence of which any infra-project,
development work has come to a halt. It is further requested to
include the cases which are critical and sensitive in which either of
the party has approached the Hon'ble Court with an ulterior motive or
extraneous considerations to affect good governance and social
welfare schemes.
In such cases where there are strong grounds to challenge the
orders/judgments, the same may be highlighted separately in the
devised proforma . Further, the cases in which stated stand of the
Government has not projected either due to lack of
seriousness or due to connivance and ,such cases in which a public
functionary has made unauthorized statement may also be identified
for taking necessary action including the recoveries of loss from the
concerned functionary's salary.
The requisite information shall be furnished within seven days
positively so that appropriate action is taken. A soft copy (word. doc)
may also be sent on the official email address: law-jk@nic.in.
Matter may please be treated as Most Urgent.
