YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated, committed and professional
Junior Project Manager, who wants join Teach for Romania’s
efforts of providing life options through education for every child
in Romania.

In the Development - Fundraising Department team, through


corporate projects, we aim to push forward Teach for Romania’s
ability to tackle the issues we are addressing in education and
more over to have vulnerable children exposed to experiences
and opportunities to explore and understands how big the
world is.

Within this role, we aim to work closely with TFR corporate


partners coordinating the activities and programs developed
with their volunteers in order to offer children different
interaction and perspectives and support learning.

The transition from school to real life is a necessity, as we all


know that the environment in which employees work is totally
different from the environment in which students learn. The
general tendency is to work alone as much as possible, but the
labor market demands collaboration and that is our aim to have
both business and schools working together.
YOUR ROLE

In this respect, we will involve the business community in


the children`s life through different projects and activities
such as: Financial education workshops, mentoring program
for children, open day at the office, remedial summer schools
for children, Christmas gifts - Be their Santa, childhood Games
- June 1st, Career Day initiatives, CSR activities such as tree
planting and so on.

The Junior Project Manager will be focused on managing the


implementation of corporate volunteer`s specific projects (it
is the bonding person between the corporate volunteers and
Teach for Romania teachers).

Role-type: part time (4 hours/day);


Reports to: Fundraising Manager;
Team: Development – Fundraising Department;
Period: November 2022-March 2023, with the possibility of
extension.

TRAVEL AND/OR WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENT

The position requires ability and willingness to travel up to


project sites (Teach for Romania schools) approximately 30%
of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as main responsible and driver for the successful
completion of the projects;
Plans, coordinates and acts as main responsible for the
implementation of project activities;
Implements other activities related to the project and
not covered by technical experts, as needed;
Coordinates the project team or works with other
departments (depending on the project);
Communicates and works with external partners
Oversees the documentation of the completion of
deliverables;
Works with the Finance partner on budget tracking if
the case
Acts as main responsible for reporting (documentation
of the project with outcomes and pictures in canva, ppt
or other tools)

Experience requirements:
Previous work experience in Project Management is
a plus
