Brief description of the revision process

Revision refers to how writers go back to their work to proofread and improve the initial

version. During the revision procedure, an individual mainly aims at producing concise and

straightforward articles. Furthermore, revising original forms has enabled authors to improve

creativity, critical thinking, curious mindsets, comprehension, and diverse knowledge of many

affairs. Global Studies promote research agendas and equip learners with a diverse foundation on

linguistics and intercultural capability (Lamott, 1994). Lemmon Anne has pointed out that

Writing is an exciting field where writers have a terrible beginning. The author opens up and

illustrates how good writing skills from consistent revision. After successfully developing the

original draft that could seem useless, a writer should write two more versions to attain the

required standards of an essay. After subsequent drafts, they improve their work and previous

polish mistakes to publish excellent masterpieces. The author further argues that writing the first

version is the most challenging part of the industry (Lamott, 1994). Another challenge that faces

authors is the initial dread to note down the ideas without hesitating or expressing anxiety about

the effects on the final paper. Recording down the initial version produces a possibly untidy or

irrelevant piece. Hence, fruitless and desperate efforts to create a valuable document mark

inclination of a writer.

My final argumentative essay depicts the importance of revision in the Process of

Writing. From the articles written by various people, revision of initial drafts is a critical element

of linguistics. Many of the authors note down several drafts before coming up with the final,

polished and valuable copy.

After going through blueprints from distinct novelists, I drew many fundamental

conclusions about the significance of revising the final edition. The procedure enables writers to

proofread work first and eliminate possible errors. Likewise, correction allows authors to update

themselves with their work and identify any omitted critical matter.

My primary revision strategy was justification. While reading the articles, I discovered

critical facts that most writers could improve their work. Fresh beginners may find it difficult or

lack the courage to write down all ideas in the first copy. With the knowledge and techniques

other writers employ, it's pretty easy to generate excellent work by imitating and putting the

concepts into practice. Even though some challenges exist in the inscription industry, specific

authors have overcome the side effects by using other means. Hence, I did not use the method of

proofreading since I believe each writer exercises freedom to express their ideal points of view

about a particular subject. I also changed my comprehension of the content from the different

books. I had a positive attitude while reading the manuscripts since my main objective was to

extract vital information that would propel my journey as an author. I slightly disagree with

Anne Lamott, who refers to the first copy as "shitty." The same may not apply to other writers

who have different ways of dealing with these trials.
