1. What were your major considerations in choosing your research title? Share your thoughts.

We were wondering whether our topic will be interesting to our readers. So, we wanted to make sure
that if a topic were to be approved, we wanted to make it relevant in today's time. We want a title that is
commonly seen and easy to be researched. Since we are Grade 11 students learning in the strand STEM,
we want a topic that will focus about them, and it should be science related. We also put into
consideration that if tour topic will be approved, we would be able to conduct our research, given our
limitations and resources.

2. Evaluate your research title using AIMRTC

We evaluated the research titles base on our ability, interest, manageability, resources, time, and contribution
we have and can make. Our research title, Emotional resiliency of Grade 11 students during online learning,
fits in all these categories. We are new researchers, currently Grade 11 students studying in the STEM strand,
limited only in online learning and can’t go outside to gather data, and with approximately two months to
conduct the research. Considering our situation, we choose to have fellow Grade 11 students as participants
since they are easier to approach which would save time and resources not to mention will be easier to
manage. We also choose them since we are also Grade 11 students and we can relate to them. We choose
that the topic will be about emotional resiliency so people will be more aware of what these students struggle,
emotionally speaking, and how do they try to cope with them as Grade 11 students ourselves we have some
foreknowledge of and are interested in the topic.

3. What are the challenges you encountered in formulating your research title? Share your thoughts.

When it came to coming up with a research title, we ran into a few obstacles. We had a lot of trouble
coming up with a good research title. One of them is the difficulty in selecting a topic. Another challenge we
faced is determining how we will gather data and information for our fellow Grade 11 students, as well as
the type of survey we will conduct. Because we are discussing mental health, we must use cautious words
in our research. There is also the pressure of time limit in our research. Since the time is limited on making
our research, we were forced to formulate a research title that is time efficient and accomplishable even we
are research at our homes.
