Reading Greek Section One grammar checklist

o declension of ὁ ἡ τό

o declension of καλός -ή -όν (‘2-1-2’) adjectives

o present active indicative and imperative of thematic verbs (e.g. βαίνω or παύω)

o present active indicative and imperative of epsilon contract verbs (e.g. βοηθέω or
ποιέω)

o present active indicative and imperative of alpha contract verbs (e.g. ὁράω or τιμάω)

o present active indicative and imperative of omicron contract verbs (e.g. δηλόω or
ἀξιόω)

o declension of ἄνθρωπος (2nd declension masculine)

o declension of ἔργον (2nd declension neuter)

o extra: declension of θεός, θεά (understanding the ‘ε ι ρ rule’: no η after these three
