Early morning we will visit Osh bazaar. There we will

have a chance to immerse ourselves into the real life of - Musician excluded
the local. I believe, it will be the best spot to see - Manaschi
different people in various traditional clothes. After this,
we will visit the family of a famous musician, where we
can observe how he actually makes musical instruments
himself. By the way, he appears to be able to play more
than 18 traditional musical instruments.

Travel to the local traditional restaurant where we can

invite people who say Manas (we call them Manaschi) I
think, if we take them to Supara, we could find best
possible spot as the restaurant has its own interesting

Day 2 Bishkek- Suusamyr (local people) - lunch

29 July Early morning we will drive towards Suusamyr (around Suusamyr: dinner and
3 hours drive). On the way we can take pictures of the B&B in a home stay
local people, the landscapes, etc.

Day 3 Suusamyr- Song- Kul. lunch Hotel in Bishkek

30 This day will be devoted to the festival from the

morning. After the festival we will drive to Song- Kul
lake which takes around 5 hours drive.
Day 4 Song- Kul- At- Bashy Felt show

July 09 After lunch we will drive to At- Bashy village. There we will lunch and dinner and
be able to take pictures of the local people, and on yur
B&B in a home stay
requesti we can make photos of women making traditional
Shyrdak.

Early morning we will drive towards Kochkor village. On

the way we will stop by Konorchek canyons and take
pictures of the landscape. Then we will drive to Kochkor
where we will meet Kyrgyz ladies who make tradiotnal
carpets out of felt.

We need to choose whether to go to Konorchek (in

Konorhcek we need to trek) or Burana tower (no need to
trek a lot)

Day 5 At- Bashy- Kel- Suul lunch and dinner and

B&B in a yurt
July 10 We will drive to the camp and go to Kel- Suu riding horses.

Today we will head to experience the nomadic lifestyle

right on the mountain near the Son- Kul lake which is
located on the 3016 m high attitude. On the way we will
pass as Kalmak Ashuu, see yacks there. There we will be
able to take pictures of the people leading their
everyday life style. You will have truly colourful pictures!
(people milking horses, cows, goats. Making traditional
snacks as Kurut, riding horses/ donkeys, etc. If the
weather is good, then we will see mountain boys
swimming in the lake!) The landscape is very beautiful.

Day 6 Song- Kul – Bokonbaevo (Kyrgyz girls in traditional dances+ En-route: picnic lunch

July 11 Bokonbaevo: dinner
After breakfast we will head to Bokonbaevo village. It is and B&B, folklore
going to be around 5 hours drive. Once we are in concert, dance.
Bokonbaeva we will see Kyrgyz girls dancing Kyrgyz dance,
and take picture of them. In addition to this we will see
folklore concert.

Day 7 Bokonbaeva – Karakol (eagle hunter) Bokonbaevo: Hotel in Karakol

July 12 Morning experience eagle hunting demonstration, free demonstration lunch at
time at lake shore, lunch at a yurt camp. Then, we will a yurt camp.
drive towards Karakol city. On the way we will visit
canyon Skazka, and Jeti- Oguz. dinner and B&B home
stay; felt show

Trek: lunch, 4 WD
After breakfast start driving into Altyn-Arashan by 4WD truck; entrance fee to
truck. Arrival in Altyn-Arashan, lunch at mountain hut. hot springs;
Take a bath in hot springs. Overnight in a hotel in
Karakol.

Day 9 Karakol- Barskoon (old mosque, local lifestyle, waterfalls) lunch, dinner and B&B

July 14 Early morning we will have a city tour (this means we will
see the only one Dungan church in Kyrgyzstan. Then, we
will drive to Barskoon waterfall. Overnight in a guest
house.

Barskoon- Bokonbaevo- Bishkek (festival)

This day we will devote to the festival.

After the festival drive back to Bishkek city.

Day 10 Song-Kol: breakfast,

lunch, dinner and B&B

July 15

Spend the day enjoying refreshing and well-earned rest

at the lake side. Watching and/or participation in
everyday life of shepherds: milking mares; making
national milk products like kymyz (a fermented mare’s
milk) or airan (a sour dense milk product); tending cattle.
Eat a delicious lunch here, stroll along the lakeshore, and
hope the legendary Song-Kol weather is kind. Remain in
yurt camp for an extra night B&B.

Day 11 After breakfast transfer to Bishkek (6 hours). Arrival in Song-Kol: breakfast Lunch & dinner at
Bishkek, check in to guesthouse, end of the tour. café self manage
