A fortnight ago, I attended The Melody Singing

Competition. It was held in SMK St Paul. It was held

on Saturday, 4th April 2022.
The school hall looked spink and span. The hall was
decorated with banners and balloons with a standing
microphone in front of the hall. The ambience was
beautiful. I met most of my friends who are from other
schools.
Firstly, I prepared day and night because practice
makes perfect. My sister helped me by giving
comments and critics so I could make my performance
better.
I started my vocal lessons when I was 4 years old. I
went for a music teacher who lives a stone’s throw
away from my house. The teacher was helpful and she
taught me classical songs. I was as hardworking as an
ant to catch up quickly.
When the results were announced, I was
dumbfounded. I emerged champion in the singing
competition. I was awarded with a microphone and cash
voucher worth RM 500. I was as happy as a lark. It was
an unforgettable day.
