Name of Organization Save Human Foundation [SHF]

Acronym of Org SHF

Save Human Foundation [SHF] is a non-government, non-profit, non-sectarian


organization and working for sustainable development of deprived community in the
Pakistan. The youth of Pakistan, had been endeavoring to uproot the social evils
since 2008 from various platforms, eventually, they founded an organization in the
name of SHF in 2009 and it was registered in 2011 with collectively from the male
and female youth friends from health, education, social, and development sectors
and social activists of Hyderabad including all over country. Meanwhile, Regular
discussions and meetings of SHF decided to create youth platform that work for
improving lives of people of low socio economic status mostly in deprived areas
(Through implementations, and action based development activities).

SHF is determined to serve the underprivileged masses in order for their socio-
economic uplift and empowerment. Following its integrated development approach,
SHF’s community development and rights based interventions are directed for the
human development and their social and economic amelioration and prosperity.
Introduction
Over a decade’s history of community development initiatives, SHF has evolved to a
of SHF
new position as a national development organization with service delivery, rights and
research based agenda of empowering the vulnerable groups of society. In the
process, it has implemented number of successful development, relief, rights &
advocacy projects as well as partnered and networked with local, provincial, national
and international organizations strengthening its position as a proactive social
change actor.

SHF has received great recognition for its various initiatives which include credit and
enterprise development program, relief and rehabilitation services, community
model schools, community health initiatives, formation of community organizations
at village level, provision of physical infrastructure, low cost shelters and pure
drinking water in remote areas, women’s empowerment of the rural females for
their socio economic uplift. Further, the evidence based research and advocacy is an
important sectorial and methodological strategy of SHF’s service and rights based
interventions.
Since the inception organization, SHF team begin work for striving poverty alleviated
people, restoration of social activities in the rural areas with mobilization of human
and physical resources on the behalf of adopting community participation approach
and gender development cross cutting theme SHF is registered under the societies
Registration act XX1,1860.

SHF has been intervening in the sectors of health, education, women’s rights, youth
awareness, Environment, safe drinking water, disaster management and advocacy
with the support of the communities, the governments departments and different
national and multinational donor agencies.

SHF envisions for a socially and economically, politically empowered society without

To promote social activism in rural area among youth, rural community and women
though building their capacities, to improve their socio economic status involving
them in development processes. To improve people’s participation in all social
