Dear Claudia,
We recently interviewed three candidates for this position. We have
decided to appoint Chantal Lefevre. I will briefly describe the
candidate's strengths and explain the reasons for our decision.
Firstly, for education, she earned a University degree in Business
Administration and a Diploma in Marketing, so she was highly
trained and get in-depth knowledge in sales and marketing.
moreover, she had 2 years’ market research, over 15 years’ sales and
marketing including 1 year in Spain and 6 years in Portugal. During
the time working for us, she is hardworking and has done an
excellent job with large bonuses each year. She is an old hand.
Secondly, she has impressive language skills. Not only can she use
Portuguese fluently but she also speaks Spanish and English well.
Thus, Chantal can work in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia without
any language barriers.
Last but not least, she has organizational and interpersonal skills that
a good director needs. She is a quiet, sociable, and modest person
but eager to progress in her career. Besides, she is an organizer of
her local tennis club, so she will have the ability to organize and
coordinate the work of sales teams well.
For these reasons, I believe Chantal can finish the tasks well and help
us solve the existing problems effectively.
