This ornament makes a great christmas gift. I have made one for my
mom and one for myself, this amigurumi looks so cute in my christmas
tree.
Check out my basic stitches tutorial if you are a beginner. The tutorial
has a lot of videos included.
Materials:
These are the materials that I used. You can replace them with other
materials. If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of this
Amigurumi, you can just use a thicker or thinner yarn/crochet hook.

Brown cotton – catania color: 437

Dark brown cotton – catania color: 162
White cotton – catania color: 105

Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12)
Rnd 3: (sc, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (18)

Insert 8 mm safety eyes between round 13-14 with an interspace of 11
st.

Stuff the head with filling.
Rnd 24: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times (12)

Rnd 25: dec 6 times (6)
Finish the head by taking the last strand of yarn and sewing it through
the front loops of every crochet stitch that you made in the last round.
Pull the yarn tight to close the hole. Now stick a needle under the hole
and weave in the yarn end
Snout:
Use brown yarn
Rnd 4-5: sc in all 18 st (18)
Fasten off with a slst, leaving a long yarn tail.
Sew the snout onto rounds 12 – 17 of the body.

Fold the ears to flatten them. Then fold the bottom of the folded ears to
create an ear shape (see photo below)
Sew the ears on the sides of the body onto rounds 10 and 11 of the
body.

Sew Antler part 3 on round 3 and 4 of the Antler part 1.
Sew the antlers on the sides of the body of the reindeer onto rounds 5
and 6.
Nose:
Use black yarn
Sew the nose onto rounds 2 and 3 of the snout.
Feet 2x:
Use brown yarn
Sew the feet on the bottom side of the body.
Tail:
Use brown yarn
Sew the tail onto rounds 17 and 18 of the body.

Candy Cane:

Start with red yarn
Change color to white
Change color to red
Stuff the candy cane with toy fiberfilling and continue stuffing as you
go.
Rnd 9: sc in 1 st, Change color to white, sc in next 17 st (18)
Rnd 11: sc in 1 st, Change color to red, sc in next 17 st (18)

Rnd 72-74: sc in all 18 st (18)
Now we are going to shape the candy cane by sewing a piece of yarn
allong the candy cane (see photo’s below). The pull the end of the yarn
to give the candy cane a round shape (see photo’s below or see my
candy cane video).
If you want, you can put in a paper straw to keep the candy cane
straight.

Rnd 75: dec 6 times (6)
Finish the candy cane by taking the last strand of yarn and sewing it
through the front loops of every crochet stitch that you made in the last
round. Pull the yarn tight to close the hole. Use the remaining yarn to
create a loop on top of the candy cane. Then sew the remaining yarn in
the candy cane.
Sew the reindeer on the candy cane.

Now you reindeer christmas ornament is done! I hope you enjoyed this
