L: Good afternoon,Nedas. Please take a seat.

N: Hello, Thank you

L: Lets start. Firstly, I want to ask why are you interested in this job?
N: I enjoy working with kids. I like to be with them, teach them something new and talk to
them. I want to give them the best possible information about the animals. And of course, I’d
like to get some relevant experience.
L: Thats great. This zoo is looking for people who already have experience working with
children- do you have that?
N: Yes, I have 1 year of experience in this job. I’ve been working with them in the nearest
zoo. I had to guide a tour around the zoo and introduce animals to them.
L: What were your responsibilities in that job?
N: I worked as a guide. I was responsible that they will learn something new, visit all the zoo
and meet all the animals. For sure, I had to keep an eye on them, that they will not separate
from the group.
L: Seems like you have enough experience. What qualities do you think you have for
children to like you and be interested in your guides?
N: I’m patient and friendly guy. I like to make some funny jokes and make them laugh. I
always want to create the best guide in the zoo and I want to make sure that they will leave
the zoo with good impressions.
L: Thats great. Do you have any questions regarding this job?
N: Yes, I have a few. What do you think are the biggest challenges in this job?
L: I think the biggest challenge here is to keep the children interested and teach them about
the zoo animals as much as possible. I think its also quite difficult to keep the children calm
and collected. Anything else?
N: Yes, Few more questions. What is exactly waiting for me In this job? What hours will I be
working?
L: So, this person would be waking up at around 7, since they need to check in to work at 9.
Then, at 9.30 they will have their first group children come. At 10.30 this person would be
done spending time and teaching with the first group of children and then have a 30 minute
break. All of this repeats until lunch time, which lasts from 12 to 1, and then resumes until
5pm.
N: Thank you for your time. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
L: Ill let you know if you got this position by Friday. Thank you for coming, N
