Mobile Technology (Modular)

Name: MORAL MICHAEL ANGELO P.__ Course/Yr:_BSIT-4__ Date: October 26, 2022

Part-1)Give what is being asked below supported by your own findings. Minimum
of five (8) pages.

1.) Describe the following in your own words with examples:

 First Generation (Mobile_1G to Mobile 10G)
1G, 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G are the five generations of mobile networks where G
stands for Generation, and the number denotes the generation number. 5G is the
latest generation, whereas 1G networks are now obsolete. The cellular technologies
GSM, UMTS, LTE and NR enable 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, respectively.
 What is the difference between 5G and 10G?
5G stands for “5th Generation” because 5G is the 5th generation of the cellular
technology that our mobile phones use. By contrast, 10G stands for “10 gigabits
per second” and it refers to the internet speed of the wired network that the cable
industry will deliver.Oct 25, 2019
 What is Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile?
Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus Components
Oracle Business Intelligence Server
The foundation of the Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition
Plus platform is a true BI server that is designed to be highly scalable,
optimizing concurrency and parallelism to make the value of BI applications
available to the largest possible audience. It provides centralized data access and
calculation, essentially creating a large pipe through which anyone can
consume any information in any form anywhere in the enterprise. The BI server
is central to all of the business processes that consume information, including
dashboards, ad hoc queries, intelligent interaction capabilities, enterprise and
production reporting, financial reporting, OLAP analysis, data mining, and
other Web Service-based applications (J2EE and .NET). All of these
applications require rich access to broad sets of data across the enterprise, and
they all require a sophisticated calculation and aggregation infrastructure that
the platform provides to deliver value.
 What is the possible future of Mobile Generations?
Smartphones in 2030 could have holographic display technologies which could
render 3D images or videos that would float above the device and be viewed from
any angle without the need to wear 3D glasses.
 What are the Countries with the fastest average mobile internet speeds as of
2021? Give examples with graph.

1. United Arab Emirates - 238.06

2. South Korea - 202.61
3. Norway - 177.72
4. Qatar - 172.18
5. China - 165.38
6. Kuwait - 157.18
7. Saudi Arabia - 155.97
8. Cyprus - 144.64
9. Bulgaria - 142.27
10. Switzerland - 135.70

 Explain why China is the highest average of mobile users in 2021. Provide proof
or shreds of evidence.
They have an advantage over other phone makers in the global market. Chinese
manufacturers, unlike traditional smartphone makers, do not have to pay the patent
and intellectual property royalties they would pay for sales in other countries
because of slipshod government regulation. It also involves on their own population
estimated 1.4 Billion that made them one of the top mobile users in the whole world.
2.) What are Benefits of Mobile Technology
o higher efficiency and productivity of staff.
o better quality and flexibility of service you offer your customers.
o the ability to accept payments wirelessly.
o increased ability to communicate in and out of the workplace.
o greater access to modern apps and services.
o improved networking capabilities.
3.) Advantages and Disadvantages of Mobile Technology
The advantages of mobile technology in today's workplace are numerous and dynamic.
o Better Communication.
o Reduced Operational Costs and Saved Time.
o Ability to Do More With Less.
o Increased Productivity.
o A Contemporary Workplace.
o Harness More Data
o Access the Cloud.
o
There are so many disadvantages of using mobile phones. Constant distraction, social
disruption, never-ending workdays, ongoing expenses, cause of accidents, health
problems, youth crimes, etc. are some of the major disadvantages of using mobile phones.
4.) What is Mobile Computing?
Mobile Computing is a technical field that covers the design, development and evaluation
of mobile applications using appropriate solutions that meet user requirements. This
includes learning the technology that is used to perform a wide variety of tasks on devices that
are portable.
What are the different types of applications in which Mobile Computing is used?
Applications of Mobile Computing
 Web or Internet access.
 Global Position System (GPS).
 Emergency services.
 Entertainment services.
 Educational services.

What are the main obstacles that occurred in mobile communications?

Interference in data transmission.
Low Bandwidth during communication.
Regulations and spectrum.
High delays, large delay variation.
Vulnerable to security issues and threats, simpler to attack.
Shared Medium Adhoc-networks.

What is the working of a SIM card in Mobile communication?

SIM cards link a certain account to a certain phone; they tell the phone network
company which account is joined up to which person's phone. Phone network companies
usually call customers “subscribers”. A SIM card is a customer card that lets your phone
connect to the network. These towers allow us to make phone calls.

What are the different advantages of Mobile Computing?

Saves Time
The time consumed or wasted while travelling from different locations or to the office
and back, has been slashed. One can now access all the important documents and files
over a secure channel or portal and work as if they were on their computer. It has
enhanced telecommuting in many companies.
What are the main disadvantages of Mobile Computing?
Disadvantages of Mobile Computer:
Availability issues – You need to interface with the web for utilizing any applications and
it needs Wi-Fi or a versatile information network. ...
Battery issue – All cell phones utilize a battery for charging your gadget.

What do you understand by guard space in Mobile Computing?

The space between the channel interference ranges is known as guard space.
Guard spaces are used to avoid frequency band overlapping or adjacent channel
overlapping.
What do you understand by multiplexing in Mobile computing?
In mobile computing, telecommunications and computer networks, Multiplexing is a
method that can be used to combine multiple analog or digital signals into one
signal over a shared medium. The main aim of using this method is to share a scarce
resource.
What are the three fundamental propagation behaviors depending on their
frequency?
There are three factors limited the number of sub channels provided within the satellite
channel. They are:- ➢ Thermal Noise. ➢ Intermodulation Noise. ➢ Crosstalk.
What are the different basic schemes of analog modulations in mobile
computing?
the analog modulation can further be classified as: Amplitude Modulation
(AM) Frequency Modulation (FM) Phase Modulation (PM)
