REPORT FOLLOWING SENTENCES

1. “Close the door, John”, said Joe

Joe told John to close the door.

2. “Can you translate this sentence for me , Suzy?”, asked Jinyoung

Jinyoung asked Suzy if she could translate this sentence for him.

3. “Would you mind passing me the sugar?”, asked Helen

Helen told me to pass her the sugar.

4. “Please give this book to Tom”, said Mia

Mia told me to give this book to Tom.

5. “ Don’t call me at midnight”, said Jackson

 Jackson told me not to call him at midnight

6. “ Can you lend me your book, Helen?”, asked Chan

Chan asked Helen if she could lend him her book.

7. “ You should go to the dentist as soon as possible”, said Jennie to Mia

Jennie told Mia to go to the dentist as soon as possible.

8. “ You shouldn’t eat too much candy”, said Karl to Carol

Karl told Carol not to eat too much candy.

9. “ You should practice more on your pronunciation, Tom”, said Mr. Joe
Mr. Joe told Tom to practice more on his pronunciation.

 Chan told Helen to give him her number.

Johnny told Mark not to put too much salt in his soup.
