You should uphold moral principles if you want to live a calm and
comfortable life. Living by laws and rules is simpler on the body and the
mind. Knowing that you did not intend to hurt anyone gives you peace and
mind. If someone engages in immortal behavior, they frequently experience
a sense of shame and sometimes intense guilt, Additionally, if the actions
include breaching the law, the person must constantly worry about being
discovered, detained, and punished. This may cause irrationality and
paranoia. The result of all these loads is sadness, guilt, anxiety, and
occasionally interpersonal conflict in friendships and partnerships.
To be respected by your tribe and society at large, you should act
morally. Being an asshole lowers standard of living for people who
impacted by you. We are animals, and mammals do better when they stick
together. Someone lacking a moral compass is distrust able and
necessitates separation. Additionally, if you don’t at least act in accordance
with rules based on ethics and morality, you risk going to jail.
