Correct the conversation

During small talk with a stranger, it is not common to discuss personal information relating to work.

It is not acceptable to discuss salaries while making small talk.

You were in Paris but we don’t know when
and it’s not important to know it.
Also when the action happened several times.

When we mention a time window in the past and it’s connected


to the present we use the Present Perfect Tense.
Other way to say it is using SINCE instead of FOR.

Make sentences and explain the use of present perfect:
connected to the present or several times in the past or started in the past and continues now.

Where (be / you) ? Where have you been?
He (write) five letters. He has written five letters.

School (not / start) yet. School hasn’t started yet.
