In this Hydroponic Kit, you can grow any kind of Leafy or vegetable plants. Or grow beautiful flowering plants.
Big plants like tomatoes, cucumbers consume more nutrients & water. So, for big plants, we recommend :
• Grow only three tomato plants, keeping other netpots without plants.
• Grow only Two vines (like cucumber, Bottle Gourd, Bitter Gourd), keeping other netpots without plants.

Plants will grow as per season only.

Easiest to grow are Spinach, Tomatoes, Brinjal, some herbs – in all seasons.
Lettuce, Strawberry, Capsicum will grow only in cool weather or in controlled environment.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Slide open top cover,
and pull out contents.

Keep Hydroponic Kit on

a level surface.

Keep air pump outside,

on side of the Kit. Take
the air pipe, pass it
through the top hole,
fix air stone on its inside
end, and fix air pump
on its outside end.
Remove stoppers (plugs) from
inside Nutrient bottles before use.

Plant saplings in netpots (or grow saplings using seeds). See next page to grow from seeds.
Put these Netpots in the top holes.

Fill Water till water level mark, and add Nutrients [25 ml from Yellow Bottle, then 25ml from Dark Bottle].
Better to use RO water. Remember : Put Water first, then only add from one bottle, then from second bottle.

Switch on air pump. Keep it on during daytime or 3-4 hours in a day. Switch off during night time.
(THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF AIR PUMP. GENERALLY IT WORKS FOR MANY MONTHS. IF IT STOPS WORKING, REPLACE
USING ANY COMMON AQUARIUM AIR PUMP (Like RS ELECTRICAL RS-180 or SOBO or VENUS AQUA AP-208).

Keep this kit where about 3-4 hours of sun-light comes – in balcony / terrace, or inside near window sill.
You can use it indoors also, by adding good branded 24W white LED light on top of it.
In hot summer, shift the Kit to partial shade. Or use aluminium foil to cover the plastic so it does not get hot.
Hot hydroponic solution is not good for hydroponics.

Weekly
Once a week, check water level. Top it up to bring level back to water level mark, or to cover 1cm of netpots.

If you do not get results, possible reasons are : (1) Use better quality seeds, OR (2) its very hot (like in June - July), OR
(3) Aeration of roots is not happening OR (4) pH of water is more than 6.5 .

Above methods work for all types of plants. You can grow almost any kind of vegetable. Or beautiful flowering plants.
• Veggies like Spinach, Lettuce, Cucumber, Gourd, Peas, Okra, Brinjal, Beans, Green Chillies, Strawberry etc.
• Flowering plants like Balsam, Petunia, Zinnia, Antirrhinum, Nasturtium, Calendula, Snapdragons etc.
• Herbs like Coriander, Mint, Basil, Fenugreek, Dill, Parsley, Sage, Thyme, Rosemary, Stevia etc.
Growth is fast compared to soil. And generally no pesticide needed.

Method no. 2 : Using Circular Grow Plugs
This is the conventional method, and gives maximum sprouting.

VERY IMPORTANT
EASIEST & FASTEST IS TO BUY SAPLINGS (पौध ) FROM NEARBY NURSERY. THEN YOU JUST HAVE TO
DO STEP-10 ONWARDS. SAVES ABOUT A MONTH REQUIRED TO GROW FROM SEEDS.
Important points to remember :

1. Keep the system on level surface.

2. Temperature of hydroponic solution should remain below 25 deg C. Maximum 30. Direct
sun rays heat up the plastic in hot summer. So in hot summer, shift the Kit to partial
shade. Or use aluminium foil to cover the plastic so it does not get hot. Hot hydroponic
solution is not good for hydroponics.

3. Maximum sunlight is good for plant growth. But try to prevent sunrays from falling onto
the kit (so it does not get hot).

4. Must bubble air in your hydroponic solution. Roots need air.

5. Always use soft water. Best is to use RO water. Or you may use municipal water supply as
that is normally low TDS (100-150 TDS). Ground water is generally hard and avoid.

6. Do not try to pull open the end caps, as they are glued and will leak if you pull them.

7. If you want to grow tall plants like tomatoes in it use only 3 netpots. Keep the remaining 3
netpots filled with LECA balls (to prevent entry of light) and without plants. With
tomatoes, you will need to watch the pH when they grow up. Because big roots increase
the pH gradually and pH should remain below 6.5. pH would not be a problem for growing
small plants generally – like lettuce, spinach, herbs etc.
