Citizenship and virtuals worlds:

1) Esports gather millions of fans all around the world. 71 million user last year -145 million
viewers now. Fan cheering, screaming during competitions. Esports building a community
trough sharing.
2) Video games may improve social relationships as they allow everybody to start equal and
develop friendships. Moreover, video games help to simulate the mind of people over 50.
Finally, they may be a good means to fight against loneliness as video games contribute to
create communities.
3) Some gamers participate in social events such as gaming for giving which allow to raise funds
for charities. Mark Strom decided to donate video game devices to a hospital where he used
to work so that ill children may play and enjoy themselves as well.

eSports are for me like a sport because it’s first, an improvement for people around us. In fact,
eSports permits to develop friendship, to build skills for our professional side as much as traditional
sports. It’s also a helpful way to build communities and overcame the feeling of loneliness. Indeed,
we can say that it’s a sport because eSport needs the same physical exertion as sports like basketball
or football, and the same cooperation in teams. With eSports, we can participate in social events, in
tournaments and can also be played at school. Moreover, in my opinion, eSports are just like any
other sports.

violence at the age of school shootings. Trough eSports, players will learn morality, new strategies
and find on their own solutions. Unlike/contrary to other educational system, video games are a
benefice to encourage creativity and innovation. Moreover, that also can allow students to develop
skills which may be useful for their future jobs. eSports will become far more than a hobby and a
better way to progress in many areas
