the rationale of the diet given.
• Adults who consume a diet high in nutrients had a lower risk of developing obesity,
cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes, as well as a longer life expectancy overall.
People who suffer from chronic conditions may find that adopting healthier eating habits
enables them to better control their symptoms and prevents further complications. The
most efficient strategies to eat healthily are to increase the number of fruits and vegetables
in one's diet while simultaneously decreasing the number of processed meals and sugar-
sweetened beverages one consumes.
Calorie, protein -Adults, require protein to maintain lean muscle mass and for healthy hair, skin, and
nails
Healthy Fats- Replacing saturated and trans fats with healthier, unsaturated fats is beneficial
Vitamins and Minerals- Eating a well-balanced diet on a regular basis can help meet most of
the micronutrient—vitamin, and mineral—needs.
